    8resents in the 9lood. The 7a@or so3rces of this gl3cose are a9sor8tion to ingested food in the

    gastrointestinal tract and for7ation of gl3cose 94 the li6er fro7 food s39stances ($r3nner ands3ddarth et.al, /00)

    As s3ch, there is a need to in6estigate the 5nowledge and attit3de a7ong dia9etic 8atients

    to aid in f3t3re de6elo87ent of 8rogra77es and techni3es for effecti6e health ed3cation.
