Drexel Metals’ 2” mechanically seamed metal roof system enhances the architectural appearance and is engineered to exceed most wind load requirements in the country. The versatility of this profile’s engineering allows the designer the ability to specify from low to steep slope applications. The concealed fasteners and patented articulating two piece floating 200 Mitchell Clip assists in minimizing the appearance of oil canning.

Note: 1. This panel is available in 24 ga. steel and .040 Aluminum. 2. This panel is installed over plywood, open purlins, steel, and steel with ISO substrates with a ½ / 12 roof slope minimum. 3. This panel (.040 Alum / 24 ga. steel) installed over a plywood substrate is tested in accordance with: a. UL 580 – Uplift Tests b. UL 2218 – Hail rating for impact 4. This panel (24 GA only) installed over steel substrates with or without ISO is tested in accordance with: a. UL 580 , TAS 125 – Uplift Tests b. TAS 100 – Wind Driven Rain c. ASTM E 1680 – Air Infiltration d. ASTM E 1886 – Large Missile Impact e. UL 2218 – Hail rating for impact f. Class A Fire rating 5. ASTM E 1592 - Open framing static air pressure test 24 ga. 6. This panel has a current Miami Dade County product approval for installations over steel substrate (22 ga. “B” deck) with or without ISO. 7. This panel has a current FBC # approved for use in High Velocity Hurricane Zones (HVHZ) and non HVHZ. a. FBC # 12114.6 (steel substrate with or without ISO). 8. This panel has two current FBC #’s approved for use in NON High Velocity Hurricane Zones (HVHZ). a. FBC # 12174.5 (24 GA steel / plywood substrate). b. FBC # 12174.6 (.040 Alum / plywood substrate). 9. This panel is approved for Weathertight Warranty. 10. Install over an approved Drexel Metals, LLC underlayment. 11. Drexel Metals sells Energy Star listed Reflective Roof systems which qualify for up to a $1,500 tax credit for consumers. Our metal roofing products also contribute to multiple LEED credits.
