A group ofvolunteers led by a rctired Air Forcegeneral is determined to changerhat and totackle what some consid-er an imposrible iask-raising Sl5million in non'f€deral donalions byNovember l99l to fund construc'rionofa memorialat the enlrance toArlingion National Cemetery.

BGen Wilma L. vauglr, USAF-Ret., is president o[ ihe women inMilitary S€rvic€ forAmerica Memo-rial Foundation. a non-profil orga-nization mandated by Congress toraise funds and consaruct th€ me-morial. To dare. thc group has raisedabour $l million, th€ ma.iority ofurhich has come from publicity innational circulation magazin€s,such as G(nd HousekeepinE, ModefiYatu/iN and DAV Maeazine.
