01 WISE LIVING Sometimes the next step in following Jesus is very practical in nature. Some may need to learn how to better manage money. Others may need down-to-earth help on how to communicate with a spouse. This track is designed to practically equip you for wise living in various areas of life. Each class will focus on the “how” of a particular life skill with the goal of empowering you to live better on the other side of the class.

02 BIBLE+THEOLOGY Romans 12:2 tells us to be transformed by the renewing of our minds. In part, this means learning to see and understand the world through the story of scripture. Classes will focus on acquainting you with particular books, passages of the Bible, and themes with the goal of helping you understand the depths of God’s story so that He can change your mind.

EQUIPPING DISCIPLES FOR MINISTRY

WHAT IS ARTIOS?ARTIOS (pronounced AR-tee-oss) is a three year training program for Christians who are passionate about serving Christ. It is designed to equip church members with the knowledge and skills they need to be effective ministers of the gospel.

WHAT IS REQUIRED?Fall 2018 ARTIOS cohort group will meet Sunday evenings from 5:00-6:00 pm during the fall and spring semesters (10 weeks each). The first class meets September 16. Out-of-class assignments include moderate amounts of reading, “hands on” ministry projects, and online collaboration with ARTIOS colleagues.

Participants are expected to attend all class sessions and fulfill all out-of-class assignments. In addition, participants must agree to complete the six courses in sequence and to serve in church ministry during and after the course of study.

WHAT DOES IT COST?Tuition to cover the cost of materials is $100 for each course. Scholarships are available.
