Lesson Summary:
~In order to graph a line using the slope and y-intercept, y needs to be positive and isolated(by itself). In other words the line must be in slope-intercept form.
~To isolate the y variable use your knowledge of equation solving and the properties of equality. Remember, what you do to one side of the equation you must do to the other! You need to keep balance :)
