Things to know about Reconciliation Day

Reconciliation Day is the closeout for the unit popcorn sale and the last opportunity to turn in all left

over show-n-sell product that is not being used to fill take orders, submit take order product through

the online system, pay show-n-sell amount due (75% of your total show-n-sell order), and turn in

post dated checks for the remaining balance. This amount is generated by using the popcorn

calculator. If your unit has no remaining product to return, you can order popcorn and prizes on line

and send your checks. This means that you will not need to come to the Council Service Center.

Help is available at the office if you choose to come in.

• Units keep their commission, paying the council only

what they owe for product.

• Take orders must be submitted on line by October 22nd

so you are able to receive your product on time.

• After October 22nd

, the council will not accept returned

product and the unit will be billed for amount due.

• Products can be returned anytime during our Show-n-

Sell sale with no penalty prior to October 22nd

; however, only 20% of a unit’s Show-n-Sell order

can be returned on October 22nd

without being assessed a 10% handling charge (based upon

the average retail price of the returned items).

• On October 22nd

, product can be returned in partial case allotments.

• Prizes must be ordered by November 8th.

• 75% of the unit’s total Show-n-Sell invoice is due on October 22nd

, see Reconciliation Calculator.

• Credit card readers must be returned no later than October 22nd

. Customer payments cannot be

processed after this date. Your Deposit will be refunded to your unit account.

• Returning product policy: Undamaged product that was checked out for Show-n- Sell purposes

Too much popcorn?

If you have popcorn products that are not

selling, please consider returning them for

redistribution. You are able to return product

at no risk and we will send it out to units all

over that are in need of extra Show-n-Sell

product for storefronts. For more details,

contact your Council Service Center.
