BOSS finished from the “Bred By Exhibitor” class at the age of 15 months by his Breeder / Handler Susanne Smith and is a Top Twenty contender and a Multi Group Placer.

Like his dam, BOSS is a Certified Therapy Dog and works in the community with the elderly and handicapped. He is adored by all that meet him. Therapy visits are invaluable for their impact on spiritual and emotional health, both of which influence physical health.

Every summer Boss participates in the “WOUNDED WARRIOR” Clinic, an aquatic clinic for severely burned, disa-

bled and disfigured soldiers returning from Iraq and Afghanistan.

As a producer, BOSS is the sire of multiple Champions, Grand Champions, in both America and Canada, and has many pointed get nearing the finish line.

MARQUIS ~ “…of Noble Lineage or Stature; a favored cut of diamond….” The Marquis name defines their contributions to the Doberman world, and has become synonymous with Dobermans bred of great lineage and stature, pure diamonds in the ring, from past to present. The contributions of George and Linda in advancing and promoting the Doberman standard through their Marquis Kennels has been exhibited in the Doberman ring for decades, and any dog with “Marquis” in its registered name has always been regarded as a prime example of the breed standard. Additionally, of course, George has become a nationally and internationally respected all-breed judge, an acknowledgement, in part, to the recognized success of the Marquis breeding program.

Kelly has continued in her parents’ footsteps, advancing and continuing the Marquis breeding program. Her success in the Doberman show ring is well recognized and deserved, as she works tirelessly to present quality dogs, many of whom carry the Marquis lineage.

We have had the privilege to know George, Linda and Kelly Marquis for almost 10 years, and have been more privileged to have Kelly show and finish two Marquis Champions ~ Am/Can Ch Marquis’ Seige of Boston, WAC, CGC, YTT, TDI and GCh Am/Can Ch Rauschund’s Margaux Marquis.

As beginners in the Doberman world, we were lucky to have been taken under the wings of George, Linda and Kelly Marquis, who have continued to guide us along the way. They are truly diamonds in the Doberman world, and are deserving of the stature and recognition that honors their continuing contribution to the Doberman breed.
