You will need to fly into Austin Bergstrom International Airport better known as ABIAA list of hotels is on slide 7A list of restaurants is on slide 11Info about Austin’s famed 6th street is on slide 12Recommend you rent a car as cab fare from ABIA to the Arboretum area will cost about $45.If you don’t want to rent a car, cabs are plentiful at ABIA right outside the baggage pick up area. If you take a cab you might want to stay at the Renaissance Hotel which is across the street from AMD (see slide 7 for details)

From US 183N to AMD-Arboretum:•Take the exit Capital of Texas Hwy/Great Hills Trail/Texas 360 loop.

•Turn left onto N. Capital of Texas Hwy/TX 360 Loop S.

•In less than ¼ mile, turn right onto Arboretum Blvd. (This will be your first right.)

•Travel up the hill. You will see Z-Tejas and Eddie V’s entrance on your left. Watch out for the ducks!

•Travel to the next drive and turn left. You will see the building directly in front of you. The AMD-Arboretum is a 4 story V-shaped building.

•Park in the parking garage – please do not park in the guest parking in front of the building.

•Take the elevator to the 4th floor reception area.

Austin’s Famed 6th Street Austin has a number of restaurants and bars located on and around 6th street. Austin is the Live Music Capital of the World and just recently held the South by Southwest Music Festival with 1,000+ bands and numerous record company representatives in attendance. Sorry you missed this wonderful festival but you can still hear and see bands perform live in many different venues on 6th street playing everything from rock to country and everything in-between.
