Once upon a time in a distant heavenly land lived a royal family at Rainbow Castle. The king was named Peridot named after the light green stone. His wife was the gorgeous Queen Amethyst. They had twelve children who were also named after precious stones. The oldest was Princess Ruby Jasmine and then came her sister Princess Sapphire Kylee. The third child was Prince Agate Jaymen. Princess Emerald Jamie, Prince Diamond Samuel, Price Aquamarine Tyler, Princess Pearl Sierra and Princess Crystal Angel, Prince Topaz Brandon lengthened the noble family. The youngest children were Princess Turquoise Avery Rose, Princess Jade DaMiah and Prince Jacinth Brett. The heavenly foundation in God's Kingdom foretold in the book of Revelation in chapter 21:19 is made of twelve stones. These precious stones glistens like a rainbow of brilliant colors. Each color represents an attribute of the character of God's son Jesus Christ. In this story, you will discover each of those elements of Jesus' personality by learning about the characters of the children at Rainbow Castle

Princess Ruby is named after the first stone in the foundation of the New Jerusalem in Heaven. The ruby is a brilliant fiery red color. The ruby represents the blood of Jesus Christ when He died on the cross. It is through the blood of Jesus that we are JUSTIFIED so that we can enter heaven and come before God. It is the first stone because it is the first step to enter heaven. Jesus died on the cross and took away our sins so that we can be JUSTIFIED before God. It is the only way that we can become children of God. God is a Holy God. He is so holy that He cannot look on or tolerate the tiniest bit of sin or rebellion against Him or His law.

God is also JUST. He is the perfect judge. He judges mankind in truth, honesty and total fairness. The Bible says some exciting news about God, the judge and His Justice.

"For the Lord is coming to judge the earth; He will judge the nations fairly and with truth". Psalm 96:13The first foundation stone in God's Kingdom is the fiery red ruby. Jesus Christ is the foundation of our faith. Jesus loved His Father God so much that He gave his life to be a

sacrifice from our sin so that we can be JUSTIFIED and adopted as children of God.

O' give thanks unto the Lord for He is goodFor His mercy endures foreverPsalm 136:1

"If Only You Believe" Faith is trusting in what we cannot see or touch. It is believing a promise made by another and trusting someone else to come through for us. Faith in God simply means living like we really believe He loves us and wants the best for us. We act on our faith in Him by following His directions even though it may not appear to make sense at the time. By choosing to live God's way instead of our own, we show that we believe He knows the best path for our lives. (1)

Princess Ruby watches the eagle fly over Rainbow Castle's Luscious Garden. She is in awesome wonder of the gracefulness of his flight. He moves so effortless with the wind beneath his wings. The truth is that God has orchestrated everything on earth which He created. She remembers the scripture about

"God protected them in the howling wilderness as though they were the apple of His eye. He spreads His wings over them, even as an eagle overspreads her young. She carries then upon her wings - As does the Lord His people!"Deuteronomy 32: 10-11 (2)

Princess Ruby Trusts God because she has faith that His Word is true. She knows that God loves her like a father who loves his own children. Jesus told Thomas "You believe because you see me. Those who believe without seeing me will be truly blessed" John 20:29 John continues writing "Jesus did many other miracles in the presence of His followers that are not written in this book. But these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God. Then, by believing, you may have life through His name. John 20:30 (3)

IF ONLY YOU BELIEVEEphesians 2:1-13 Made Alive in Christ

1. As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, 2 in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. 3 All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath.

But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from

yourselves, it is the gift of God — 9 not by works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Jew and Gentile Reconciled Through Christ. 11 Therefore, remember that formerly you who are Gentiles by birth and called “uncircumcised” by those who call themselves “the circumcision” (which is done in the body by human hands) remember that at that time you were separate from Christ, excluded from citizenship in Israel and foreigners to the covenants of the promise, without hope and without God in the world. But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ. Did you ever hear the story of the beautiful young girl who was locked away in the tall tower? The fairy tale is called "Rapunzel". Sometimes you may feel like you are forgotten. But God promises us that He never forgets about us. We can go to God anytime - morning, noon and night. He is always ready to listen to us.

Princess Ruby looks out her window of her room in the High Tower from Rainbow Castle. She sees the awesome beauty that God has created, and the first thing that her mind thinks is how thankful she is of the beautiful world that God has created. She Praises God for loving her, and creating her to be His own daughter, a treasured princess.

"The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, MY HIGH TOWER, and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest me from violence." 2 Samuel 22:3 (King James Version)

The high tower is the highest place in the castle. The largest and strongest tower is called "The Keep" and it is usually where the guards and King and Queen live.

God is called our High Tower because He is always watching over us and guarding us.

Another wonderful song that I love is

Chapter Two - ROBED IN RIGHTEOUSNESSThrough Redemption - Princess Sapphire ***Princess Sapphire was named after the precious stone. It is the second foundation stone of the New Jerusalem in Heaven. The sapphire represents RIGHTEOUSNESS. When we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior He clothes us with robes of RIGHTEOUSNESS. That means that we are in right standing with God. Not because of our righteousness, but because of Jesus' righteousness. The gift of Jesus' righteousness to us.

In Romans 3: 10-31 Paul explains our salvation through the righteousness of Jesus Christ. 10 As the Scriptures say: “There is no one who always does what is right, not even one. 11 There is no one who understands. There is no one who looks to God for help. 12 All have turned away. Together, everyone has become useless. There is no one who does anything good; there is not even one.” 13 “Their throats are like open graves; they use their tongues for telling lies.” “Their words are like snake poison.” 14 “Their mouths are full of cursing and hate.” 15 “They are always ready to kill people.16 Everywhere they go they cause ruin and misery.17 They don’t know how to live in peace.” (Isaiah 59:7–8)18 “They have no fear of God.” (Psalm 36:1)19 We know that the law’s commands are for those who have the law. This stops all excuses and brings the whole world under God’s judgment, 20 because no one can be made right with God by following the law. The law only shows us our sin.20

Page 21: just4kidsmagazine.comjust4kidsmagazine.com/GodsKingdom/GKRCbook.docx · Web viewOnce upon a time in a distant heavenly land lived a royal family at Rainbow Castle. The king was named

How God Makes People Right21 But God has a way to make people right with him without the law, and he has now shown us that way which the law and the prophets told us about. 22 God makes people right with himself through their faith in Jesus Christ. This is true for all who believe in Christ, because all people are the same: 23 Everyone has sinned and fallen short of God’s glorious standard, 24 and all need to be made right with God by his grace, which is a free gift. They need to be made free from sin through Jesus Christ. 25 God sent him to die in our place to take away our sins. We receive forgiveness through faith in the blood of Jesus’ death. This showed that God always does what is right and fair, as in the past when he was patient and did not punish people for their sins. 26 And God gave Jesus to show today that he does what is right. God did this so he could judge rightly and so he could make right any person who has faith in Jesus.27 So do we have a reason to brag about ourselves? No! And why not? It is the way of faith that stops all bragging, not the way of trying to obey the law. 28 A person is made right with God through faith, not through obeying the law. 29 Is God only the God of the Jews? Is he not also the God of those who

21

are not Jews? 30 Of course he is, because there is only one God. He will make Jews right with him by their faith, and he will also make those who are not Jews right with him through their faith. 31 So do we destroy the law by following the way of faith? No! Faith causes us to be what the law truly wants.Romans 3: 10-31 (New Century Version)

In 1 Corinthians 1:30 Paul wrote 30 God Himself made the way so you can have new life through Christ Jesus. God gave us Christ to be our wisdom. Christ made us right with God and set us apart for God and made us holy. Christ bought us with His blood and made us free from our sins.1 Corinthians 1:30 (New Life Version)

The bible says that the righteous man shall live by faith. In the old testament, it reads: “See, the enemy is puffed up; his desires are not upright but the righteous person will live by his faithfulness. Habakkuk 2:4 (New International Version)

Then in the new testament Paul wrote to the Romans to tell them the good news that Jesus Christ is revealed as promised in the old testament.

17 For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed — a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.”Romans 1:17

Paul writes to the Hebrews:37 "For, In just a little while, he who is coming will come and will not delay.38 And, But my righteous one will live by faith. And I take no pleasure in the one who shrinks back.”Hebrews 10:37-38 (New International Version)

Paul writes to the Galatians.

11 Clearly no one who relies on the law is justified before God, because “the righteous will live by faith.”Galatians 3:11 (New International Version)

John wrote that Jesus Christ is the one who is truly RIGHTEOUS. 2 My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. 2 He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.Love and Hatred for Fellow Believers3 We know that we have come to know him if we keep his commands. 4 Whoever says, “I know him,” but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in that person. 5 But if anyone obeys his word, love for God[a] is truly made complete in them. This is how we know we are in him: 6 Whoever claims to live in him must live as Jesus did.1 John 2:1-6 (New International Version)Isaiah 60:10 says:10 Foreigners will come and build your cities. Presidents and kings will send you aid. For 24

though I destroyed you in my anger, I will have mercy on you through my grace.

And in Ephesians 6:14 Paul writes: 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place. (New International Version)

The breastplate is a covering to protect our heart. Jesus covers our sins with His righteousness. When we go before God we are robed with Jesus' righteousness. God will only see the righteousness of Jesus when we go before Him.

Righteousness is a gift from God. We cannot earn it. It is freely given to all those who ask Jesus Christ to be their Lord and Savior. Jesus pours His Righteousness on us when we have been washed by His blood. It is not about what we do but by what Jesus has done for us that allows us entrance to God's throne room.

God had Moses build a Tabernacle so that God's Presence could be with His people.

*** REDEMPTIONRedemption is the act, process, or an instance of redeeming.

REDEEM means: to buy back: to get or win back. To liberate by payment. Ransom. To free by force. To release from blame or debt; to clear. To free from the bondage of sin. To change for the better; to reform, repair, restore. When a person wants to free a slave they will need to pay the price that the master is asking for the slave, and then once they purchase the slave the new owner can release the slave into freedom.1 Corinthians 6:20 and 7:23 declares that believers "are bought with a price." Jesus offered Himself for us as a due satisfaction. He, having paid the price, binds us to Himself.

When you hear, or read the word REDEEM remember that it means to be free from the bondage of sin, but most important remember that for us to be REDEEMED Jesus had to pay a price. And He paid a very high price... a cruel death on the cross.

Righteousness and Justice are the most natural attributes of Princess Sapphire and Princess Ruby. They live with God's throne in their hearts. They are moved to bring righteousness and justice into every situation. JESUS CHRIST Sin is the root of injustice. Jesus came to earth to deal with sin, and He accomplished it once and for all when He died on the cross. Jesus fulfilled the demand of Justice by taking the penalty for our sin on the cross. Jesus took what we deserved for our sins. Through faith, we receive salvation and are sealed as children of God. As children of the King we have access to the life Jesus deserved by His perfect righteous life. 34

Jesus described the justice He came to bring in Luke 4:18-19

"The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to sit at liberty those who are oppressed; to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord."Jesus' Justice is a Justice of Restoration. It gives back to people that which sin took from them. We live with all the benefits of a restored relationship with our Father in heaven. CHAPTER THREE - SEALED AS CHILDREN OF THE KING - Prince Agate *** Knight Agate is named after the precious stone Agate the 3rd stone of the foundation of the New Jerusalem in HeavenIt represents the Seal of Salvation and Protection that our Lord Jesus Christ gives to us when we believe that He is the Son of God, Our Savior, and our Lord and Master.

The agate stone was often used to make precious seals that engraves a King's signature and claim on things that belong to Him. There are many colors of agate. I believe that the agate on the foundation at the New Jerusalem is a yellow color.Jesus is referred to as the "LIGHT" of the world, and yellow is a great color to remind us of light.

In the bible verse Ephesians 6:17Paul writes "Take the Helmet of Salvation"

When we accept Jesus as our Savior we receiveSalvation and receive God's Seal of Protectionfrom the top of our head to the bottom of our feet

In the first chapter of Ephesians Paul explains God's Salvation plan through Jesus Christ to adopt us as His children. "God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by

bringing us to Himself through Jesus Christ. This is what He wanted to do, and it gave Him great pleasure. So we praise God for the glorious grace He has poured out on us who belong to His dear Son. He is so rich in kindness and grace that He purchased our freedom with the blood of His Son and forgave our sins. He has showered His kindness on us, along with all wisdom and understanding." Ephesians 1:5-8 (NLT)

Paul again calls us adopted children of God in Romans 8:23"And we believers also groan, even though we have the Holy Spirit within us as a foretaste of future glory, for we long for our bodies to be released from sin and suffering. We, too, wait with eager hope for the day when God will give us our full rights as his adopted children, including the new bodies He has promised us

As children of God we receive the SEAL of salvation forever.

Ephesians 1:13-14 says: 37

2 Timothy 2:19 says:"Nevertheless, the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal: “The Lord knows those who are His,” and, “Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity." Jesus did so much for us. His blood on the cross made us justifiedto enter the throne room of God. Then Jesus clothed us with His robe of Righteousness so that we are blameless before God.

SANCTIFIEDWhat Does Sanctified Mean? blessed, or clean, holy"Set apart for God""Set apart as holy."

The Bible talks about how, once a person is saved through faith in Jesus, God pardons their guilt through the work that Jesus did for them on the cross by suffering for their sins. Yet this is not all that God does for them; he also does a very real and supernatural thing inside them, causing them to be "born again".

39

Page 40: just4kidsmagazine.comjust4kidsmagazine.com/GodsKingdom/GKRCbook.docx · Web viewOnce upon a time in a distant heavenly land lived a royal family at Rainbow Castle. The king was named

The Bible teaches that a person is not alive spiritually until they come to know Jesus by faith--before this, they are "dead in their trespasses and sins". When they truly place their trust in Jesus, God has done something internally: he made that person come alive through this new birth by giving them his Holy Spirit and performing a very real life-giving miracle. The Bible therefore calls Christians "a new creation".

Jesus says in John 3 that nobody can enter Heaven unless they are born again like this. All this happens when a person is saved.

Sanctification is the work that God continues doing in a person's live after they have come to know Jesus and been born again. If God were to just leave us alone after this, we would continue to do horrible stuff and never change our behavior or grow as Christian. But God does not leave his children alone; he is a wonderful Father! Therefore, he guides us and disciplines us and works on us through his Spirit which now "dwells" in us.

Sanctification is this lifelong process; God will continually be showing us our sin, and

teaching us to change our minds and choose to do what is right instead. He does this as he increases our love for him. He also continually takes "idols" and things that are against him out of our lives. This process can be difficult at times but it is so worth it, because at the same time we grow to know Jesus more closely. So sanctification is what the experience is called as God makes many changes in the life and heart of a Christian. He keeps working on us and making us better, but we won't be perfect until we see Jesus face to face. The Bible says that then "we will be like him, for we shall see him as he is". Only then will our sanctification be done.

One very important thing that many people don't realize is, the Bible says to look and make sure that this is actually happening in your life. Scripture gives no category allowing for people who know Jesus but are supposedly not experiencing the process of sanctification. Lots of people think they are Christians, but if you are not experiencing God's hand on your life, not being taught by him to turn from your sin and obey him out of love, there is a very good chance you are not actually a Christian yet. The Bible does not say anywhere that praying a certain magical prayer to Jesus will

save you; many people "do" this and yet have not truly believe in Jesus, in the sense that the Bible talks about. Real faith always results in an active relationship with him of growing trust and obedience, because this is what God is doing to show his glory and his love for his people. We must come to know Jesus through faith in order to be saved and then sanctified.

(Answer: Most denominations believe that sanctification is progressive during a believer's life. - Wiki.answers.com)

Choose Your Helmet of SalvationThe Helmet of Salvation is one of the most important battle gear that God gives to us. The helmet protects our head. In the battle field arrows and spears may be trying to pierce our head. The helmet helps to protect the enemy from hurting us.

There is another battlefield that the enemy comes against us every day. That is the battlefield of our mind. We need to put on our helmet of salvation so that we protect our mind from the enemy placing negative thoughts inside our mind. It is important that we surround our self with positive thoughts

His purpose was to create in himself one new humanity out of the two, thus making peace, 16 and in one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility. 17 He came and preached peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near. 18 For through him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit.

Princess Emerald has read and studied the bible diligently. She knows and believes what Paul wrote in Romans 8:31 "If God is with us, then no one can defeat us." And in verses 37-39 Paul writes "But in all these things we have full victory through God who showed His love for us. Yes, I am sure that nothing can separate us from the love God has for us. Not death, not life, not angels, not ruling spirits, nothing now, nothing in the future, no powers, nothing above us, nothing below us, or anything else in the whole world will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

In the bible, we find several references to the lion.

Below are a few examples of being like a lion:

* Christ is referred to as a Lion in Revelation 5:5

* The Lion is a symbol of God's mighty protection for His people in Isaiah 31:4

* The Lion is a symbol of ferocity in Genesis 49:9

* In Lamentations 3:10; and Hosea 5:14 we find that the Lion is a type of God's executing judgement.

Matthew 5 says: "Blessed are the meek for they shall possess the earth".

The Greek word for meek is PRAUS.Praus was used when speaking about a domestic animal.

A domestic animal is a tamed animal that is trained so that they can live with people. Like a cat or dog that can stay inside your home because they have learned how to act properly inside your house. You would not want a wild unruly animal to tear up everything and terrorize your family. You want a trained DOMESTIC MEEK pet that obeys you, is kind, gentle and loving.

Meet MEEKER, he is a strong show horse that has been trained and disciplined so that he can be controlled by his master Jamie. Meeker is a powerful horse that Jamie trusts to ride because he obeys her and he is gentle.

When Meeker goes to a horse show he is able to jump large hurdles, because he has received hours of training. The training makes his muscles strong so that his body is the best

that it can be. He knows when to jump and how hard to jump.

Meeker has been trained to know his masters voice. With even a gentle touch from his master he knows what he is suppose to do. Jamie named her horse MEEKER because he trusts and obeys her and he puts his faith in her everyday. When they go to horse shows MEEKER is strong, mighty and bold before the audience and he performs magnificently.God wants us to be MEEK like MEEKER. He wants us to put our faith and trust in Jesus Christ every day. God desires for us to be strong and controlled by God. He wants us to submit our own will to God's will. When we learn to trust, and walk with God everyday it is easy to be strong and bold when we are before the world and when Satan tries to test us. A Meek person does not rely on himself, saying, I can do all things. I have confidence in myself for I am strong and able. Instead a meek person says, I know God, and He is able and willing to help me. "I can do all things through Jesus Christ who strengthens me."

A Meek person trusts the Lord.A Meek person is wise.

Hyssop was once called a "Holy Herb" because it was used for sprinkling in the ritual practices of the Hebrews. Ex 12:22 reads “And ye shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and strike the lintel and the two side posts.” Because of the reference found in Num. 19:6 (“And the priest shall take cedar wood, and hyssop, and scarlet, and cast it into the midst of the burning of the heifer”), we have called this fragrance “HOLY FIRE”. Hyssop, a very "clean, fresh" scent, speaks of spiritual cleansing by the refining fire of the Holy Spirit. Ps 51:7 “Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.”

Many of our spiritual conflicts (dragons), will not go away until the character of Jesus Christ is formed in our hearts.

The way to realize God's ultimate victory is to be completely transformed into the likeness of Jesus Christ.

"No one who has become part of God's family makes a practice of sinning, for Christ, God's Son, holds him securely and the devil cannot get his hands on him."1 John 5: 18

Counsel means the interchange of opinion; consultation and advice. But most importantly it means purpose aplan. When we receive God's COUNSEL we are receiving His purpose and plan for our life. "Think of it, first of all, in connection with God Himself. His will is the power by which He determines what He is to do, and what is to be done by His children. In that will, all His goodness, wisdom, love, and power are revealed. The knowledge of that will opens up to mankind the very heart of God." Andrew Murray

1 King 22:5 and 2 Chronicles 18:4 advises before going into war:"First seek the COUNSEL of the Lord."

King David wrote in Psalms: "You will keep on guiding me all my life with Your wisdom and COUNSEL, and afterwards receiveme into the glories of heaven!"

This scripture in Proverbs is talking about Wisdom:

"COUNSEL and sound judgement are mine:I have understanding and power. By me kingsreign and rulers make laws that are just; by meprinces govern, and all nobles who rule on earth.I love those who love me, and those who seek me find me." Proverbs 8: 14-17

In Isaiah 9:6 the bible says that Jesus will be called "Wonderful COUNSELOR, Mighty God."

"But the COUNSELOR, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you."John 14:26

Paul said to the Ephesians:"Being predestined according to the purpose of Him who worked all things after the COUNSEL of His own will."Ephesians 1:11

Wow that means that even before we were born God chose us to be counseled by Him to live our life for His purposes.

REFLECTIONS OF GOD'S HEART We should seek to be in the presence of God all the time. Jesus made the way for us to be able to go to God any time of day. All we have to do is call His name and He will listen. God is never too busy to listen to us. He never puts us on hold and He never tells us that He is too busy to spend time with us. It is hard for us to understand how God could possibly be able to listen to everyone at the same time... But He is God and His power is totally awesome. It is beyond our understanding.

Whenever Moses would enter into the presence of God, he would have the glory of God all over him. The glory on Moses was so

bright that the people of Israel could not look at his face. Moses had to cover his face with a veil until God's glory on him faded away.

When we are in God's presence we have reached the top of Glory Mountain. When we draw close to God and invite Jesus in to clean our hidden areas then His light can shine forth from within us. We will learn to walk and abide in Jesus Christ. There is nothing in this world as wonderful as being with God and abiding in His Son. The Son of the everlasting God of the universe. He is our personal Father who loves us beyond our understanding.

The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will serve Him. 4 They will see his face, and His name will be on their foreheads. 5 There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever.John and the Angel 6 The angel said to me, “These words are trustworthy and true. The Lord, the God who inspires the prophets, sent his angel to show his servants the things that must soon take place.”

At Rainbow Castle there is a river calledRIVER OF LIFEit runs along down the center of the peninsula and empties in to the ocean. The river flows down from the Glory Mountains.

Some of the people who live in Rainbow Castle believe that The River of Life actually comes from God's Throne Room in Heaven. The Kingdom Academy is the place the King's Knights learn about God and how to walk in the King's Kingdom as mighty knights. When the King's sons become 14 years of age they become squires and start their training in the Enchanted Forest Academy to become the King's Knights at Rainbow Castle. The teacher at Enchanted Forest Academy is King Peridot. He teaches the young squires with Godly Counsel. King Peridot is always pointing the way to God's unending love for His children.

When a Squires turned 21 years of age they were usually invested as knights during one of the great feasts or holidays, like Christmas or Easter. Sometimes the ceremony took place on another special occasion, such as the wedding of a noble or royal. The king, nobles, knights and clergy or the squire's father (if he were a knight) could confer knighthood.

78

Page 79: just4kidsmagazine.comjust4kidsmagazine.com/GodsKingdom/GKRCbook.docx · Web viewOnce upon a time in a distant heavenly land lived a royal family at Rainbow Castle. The king was named

The knighting ceremony usually involved a ritual bath on the eve of the ceremony (the would-be knight usually dressed in white). Then an all-night prayer vigil would begin, sometimes with the squire's arms on the altar. The kneeling squire would swear an oath, which included some of the following points:

* He would always defend a lady. * He would speak only the truth. * He would be loyal to his lord. * He would be devoted to the church. * He would be charitable and defend the poor and helpless. * He would be brave. * When on a quest, he would remove his armor and arms only while sleeping. * He would never avoid dangerous paths out of fear. * He would be on time for any engagement of arms, like a battle or tournament.

79

Page 80: just4kidsmagazine.comjust4kidsmagazine.com/GodsKingdom/GKRCbook.docx · Web viewOnce upon a time in a distant heavenly land lived a royal family at Rainbow Castle. The king was named

* Upon returning to his home or lord's court from an adventure, he would always tell of his escapades. * If taken prisoner, he would give up his arms and horse to his opponent and not fight the opponent again without the opponent's consent. * He would fight only one-on-one against an opponent.

Then the master of the ceremony would dub the new knight on the shoulders with a sword. (Knights received a blow with the flat of the sword on his neck or shoulders, which signified the last insults he could receive without retaliating.) The knight would then dress in armor, receive his sword, mount his horse and participate in some martial games to demonstrate his skills as part of the celebration.

In times of war, a squire who had demonstrated exceptional bravery in battle

could be knighted on the battlefield by another knight.

With knighthood came several privileges. Knights obtained the title "sir." They could own land, hire soldiers to defend it and dispense justice over the soldiers and those living on the land. They -- and their horses -- could wear armor in battle (armor was expensive, so only knights could afford it). During feasts, banquets and dinners, knights had places at the high table, where lords and royals ate. They could also bear arms inside a church because they were defenders of God and the church.

In times of war, knights were called to arms by their lords or by the king. They led foot soldiers and archers into battle, much like modern officers do with enlisted men. During peacetime, knights managed their estates, dispensed justice, trained for battle and participated in tournaments. We'll learn about tournaments on the next page.

ChivalryChivalry was a code of conduct to which all knights adhered. A knight swore to defend

the weak and to uphold virtues like compassion, loyalty, generosity and truthfulness. The code of chivalry prevented well-armed and well-trained knights from wreaking havoc on the general population.

In war, the chivalrous knight was idealized as brave in battle, loyal to his king and God, and willing to sacrifice himself for the greater good. Towards his fellow Christians and countrymen, the knight was to be merciful, humble, and courteous. Towards noble ladies above all, the knight was to be gracious and gentle. **(http://just4kidsmagazine.com/KingsKnights/battle/index.html)

The pearl is the only gem that can emerge from nature perfect and complete. Unlike diamonds and other gemstones, a pearl does not require cutting and polishing to reveal its beauty. It is nature’s perfection in a luminous droplet.

Wisdom is not just about knowing things. We become wise when we understand what God wants for our life, and live our life in a way that pleases God. The best way to know what God wants for us is to spend time with Him and gain knowledge about God by reading the bible.

Psalm 111:10 says "The fear of the Lord is th e beginning of wisdom."and 1 King 2:6 says "Wisdom given to men through fear of the Lord."

Fear in these bible verses mean respect and honor. When we respect and honor God than we are beginning to become a WISE person.

The Living Bible reads the same verse this way:"How can we be wise? The only way to begin is by reverence for God.For growth in WISDOM comes from obeying His Laws. Praise His name forever."

James 1:5 says "If you want to know what God wants you to do. ask Him, and He will gladly tell you, for He is always ready to give a bountiful supply of WISDOM to all who ask Him; He will not resent it." (The Living Bible)

"If you want favor with both God and man, and a reputation for good judgment and common sense, then trust the Lord completely; don't ever trust yourself. In everything you do, put God first, and He will direct you and crown your efforts with success. Don't be conceited, sure of your own wisdom. Instead, trust and reverence the Lord, and turn your back on evil; when you do that, then you will be given renewed health and vitality." (Proverbs 3:4-8 TLB)

Then in Proverbs 3:16-21 David continues to write about WISDOM"Wisdom gives: A long good lifeRiches, HonorPleasure and Peace.Wisdom is a tree of life to those who eat her fruit; happy is the man who keeps on eating it. The Lord's WISDOM founded the earth; His understanding established all the universe and space. The deep fountains of the earth were broken open by His knowledge, and the skies poured down rain. Have two goals: WISDOM - that is, knowing and doing right - and common sense. Don't let them slip away." (TLB)

In Proverbs 4:7-9 God says that WISDOM is like an "ornament of grace" and a "crown of glory."

Paul wrote to the Colossians that he was praying to God that they would be knitted together with strong ties of love, and that they would have" a rich experience of KNOWING Christ with real certainty and clear UNDERSTANDING. For God's secret plan, now at last made known, is Christ Himself. In Him lie hidden all the MIGHTY, untapped treasures of WISDOM and KNOWLEDGE."Colossians 2:2-3 (TLB)

Notice that the above prayer from Paul mentions Knowledge, Understanding, Might and Wisdom. They all tie together in God's love.

This message is written from my heart about God's love for you. When you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior you are adopted into God's Kingdom as his daughter or son. So when you are a daughter of the King of Kings you become His Princess. If you are a son you become His Prince. A Prince who has gone through the Lord's Army Training at the Kingdom Academy becomes a Knight. And the females become Warrior Princesses when we finish our training. The Kingdom Academy training helps us to know the Word of God so that we can fight the good fight and be victorious. As children of God we have special protection and Kingdom rights.

At the Kingdom Academy, the princesses receive a special jeweled tiara when we graduate. I was crowned with the pearl tiara which represents the Revelation of Wisdom from the Holy Spirit.

Jesus sees the beginning all the way to the end, and the end from the beginning. He is the Alpha and Omega. Alpha is the Greek word for Beginning and Omega is the Greek word for End. Jesus has the blueprint for your life right in front of Him. He knows what God has ordained for you. He hears from the

Father, "Jesus, go get it", and then Jesus tells the Holy Spirit, who transmits it to you. This is the working of the revelation of WISDOM from the Holy Spirit.

There are twelve stones at Rainbow Castle. Each stone represents a special meaning given from God. You can find the twelve stones mentioned in Revelation 21 about the foundation of the New Jerusalem in Heaven. You also find the stones in the bible in chapter 28 of the book of Exodus. God told Moses to place these twelve stones on the breastplate of Aaron, the High Priest. Each stone would represent one of the tribes of Israel. Each stone in the foundation of the New Jerusalem represents Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit and our walk on Earth in God's Kingdom.

I love to wear beautiful flowing gowns and gorgeous ornamental jewels. You often see the most ornamental jewels and clothing on children of the King. The first recording of beautiful robes is found in the bible. In the book of Exodus chapter 28 God instructed Moses to make holy garments for Aaron, his brother who was the High Priest. Before that time the priests wore plain black robes. God

wanted the priests to show His holiness and purity that characterized God's divine nature and the worship that is worthy of Him. Exodus 28:2-3 says: "You shall make holy garments for Aaron your brother, for glory and for beauty. You shall speak to all who are gifted artisans, whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom, that they may make Aaron's garments. to consecrate him, that he may minister to Me as priest

No one had ever made this type of garment before, so they could not do it own their own ability. God told them to make the garments with gold, blue, purple, and scarlet thread, and God gave them further detailed instructions for making them. The scripture says that creators of the clothing needed God's spirit of Wisdom.

God has a plan for your life, and He wants it to happen. God does not ask us to do it in our own ability. He will release the skills for us to operate at the level that we need. God will give you the spirit of Wisdom so that you will be able to do the thing that He has called you to do. God loves for His children to do the impossible, so that people around you will

When you spend time with God by Knowing Him, reading your bible, understanding Him, being led by Him in your life with His will, and walking in His power and might. Then it is easy to FEAR GOD, and want to spend all of your days in His presence. The following Psalm written by King David is so wonderful I want to share the whole chapter.

"The Lord is my light and my salvation so why should I be afraid? The Lord is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble? When evil people come to devour me, when my enemies and foes attack me, they will stumble and fall. Though a mighty army surrounds me, my heart will not be afraid. Even if I am attacked, I will remain confident."

Now notice what the most important thing that David is asking for. "The one thing I ask of the Lord the thing I seek most is to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, delighting in the Lord’s perfections and meditating in his Temple. For he will conceal me there when troubles come; he will hide me in his sanctuary. He will place me out of reach on a high rock. Then I will hold my head high above my enemies who surround me. At his sanctuary, I will offer sacrifices with shouts of joy, singing and praising the Lord with music."Even though David was King with earthly power and importance, his main desire was as pure and simple as dwelling in the presence of God. Wow! That is wonderful, and it is what I want more than anything else. How about you? Is it the true desire of your heart?

The Psalm continues with a Prayer for God's help and protection. "Hear me as I pray, O Lord. Be merciful and answer me! My heart has heard you say, “Come and talk with me.” And my heart responds, “Lord, I am coming.” Do not turn your back on me. Do not reject your servant in anger. You have always been my helper. Don’t leave me now; don’t abandon me, O God of my salvation! Even if my father and mother abandon me, the Lord will hold me close.

Teach me how to live, O Lord. Lead me along the right path, for my enemies are waiting for me. Do not let me fall into their hands. For they accuse me of things I’ve never done;

with every breath, they threaten me with violence. Yet I am confident I will see the Lord’s goodness while I am here in the land of the living.

Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord." Psalm 27

David tells us to wait patiently for God. Sometimes it seems that God is not doing anything, or that He is quiet. But the bible teaches us to watch and pray. Pray about everything and fear nothing. Remember that fear is F - False E - Evidence A - Appearing R - Real

I know that when you rely on God you will find more joy and peace for your everyday living.

Fear torments many people. You may fear what other people think of you because of how you look, dress or the words that you speak. Because of fear, many people do not confront the problems. Instead they spend their lives running. God tells us to stand strong and face our fear. Be secure in the knowledge that you are a conqueror!

The Word Became Flesh 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.108

6 There was a man sent from God whose name was John. 7 He came as a witness to testify concerning that light, so that through him all might believe. 8 He himself was not the light; he came only as a witness to the light.

9 The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world. 10 He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. 11 He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. 12 Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— 13 children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.

14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth."

Proverbs 9:10 (NASB) says, "The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding."

If this is true, then it is important to understand what it means to fear the Lord. I feel strongly that the idea of what it means to fear God has been watered down greatly. If one looks at the basic meaning of the word "fear" in both the Hebrew and the Greek in the Strong's concordance or a lexicon, it is clear that the basic meaning really has to do with dread or being afraid. The book of Hebrews says that it is a terrible thing to fall into the hands of the living God (vs. 10:11). The fear of God should not be understated.

Sometimes the word for fear is translated differently even in the same passage. One example of this goes back to the Hebrew and comes in the book of Jonah. In Jonah 1:9 Jonah said that he feared the Lord God of heaven. Some translations change this to say that he worshiped the Lord God of heaven. This happens even though the next verse uses the same word to say the sailors were frightened. The Hebrew word is yaw-ray' and its basic meaning is to be afraid or to fear. It seems clear that to fear the Lord goes a little deeper than mere reverence or worship. In the Greek, there are also verses that reference fearing the Lord. Although many of

110

Page 111: just4kidsmagazine.comjust4kidsmagazine.com/GodsKingdom/GKRCbook.docx · Web viewOnce upon a time in a distant heavenly land lived a royal family at Rainbow Castle. The king was named

the translations still translate and use "fear," when it is explained from the pulpit and other places the idea is watered down. The real meaning of fear is lost. An explanation of fear from Noah Webster's 1928 Dictionary of American English says this about fear, "A painful emotion or passion excited by an expectation of evil, or the apprehension of impending danger." It also says, "The force of this passion, beginning with the most moderate degree, may be thus expressed, fear, dread, terror, fright." Based on the word and its normal use, it seems a disservice to downgrade the meaning of word when referring to God.

The Greek word for fear isfob-eh'-o and it is the same word where we get our word phobia from. It is used in the New Testament to speak of people being afraid or Jesus telling His disciples not to fear. But when it is used to speak of fearing God, the idea is changed into one of just reverence and worship. To fear of the Lord is more than just honor or respect and the One who is able to destroy both body and soul (Matt 10:28) should be feared in a literal sense.

I am not saying that those who have placed their faith in Jesus should go around shaking in their boots (although perhaps non-believers should be considering their fate), but rather to seek a better understanding of the God we worship. He holds the whole world in His hands and is the same God who struck down Ananias and Sapphira in Acts 5 for their deception. He is the same God who sent fire down from heaven to destroy the messengers of Ahaziah when he sought Elijah in 2 Kings 1. He is a complex God and we cannot fully understand Him. We know He is a God of great love, compassion, and long-suffering, but also He is no pushover. To fear Him is the beginning of wisdom. Do you truly fear Him?

***GLORY MOUNTAIN AT RAINBOW CASTLE We should seek to be in the presence of God all the time.

The glory on Moses was so bright that the people of Israel could not look at his face.

We are not heard for our vain repetitions, but the "fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much" James 5:16. The golden altar of incense is a type of Christ in respect to the efficacy of his mediator work for us.

Hebrews 7:25 & Hebrews 8:1The Golden Altar could only be reached after one had gone to the Brazen Altar. The horns of the altar speak of the power of prayer. The fire on this altar came from the Brazen Altar. The fire of sacrifice now becomes the fire of blessing.

The Incense is composed of eleven different ingredients.

*** The white peacock can represent the all-seeing, all-knowing eye of God. Christian artwork, like paintings and mosaics, have used white peacocks to represent Jesus Christ. This is because the peacock is considered a symbol for death, resurrection and eternal life, which are concepts that are directly affiliated with Christ. The bird is also affiliated with such Christ-like attributes as royalty, glory and incorruptibility. Its white color represents his holy spirit. The white peacock's color stands for awakening, spirituality and light. The term "Christ consciousness" refers to enlightenment, which means that a person is aware of the thoughts and fears that are projected by his ego, but doesn't accept them as his true state of being. Not only does the white peacock represent Jesus Christ, its color stands for awakening, spirituality and light, along with the purity of a person's intentions and his faith in God.

Jesus called His Father God the Mighty One because God has all of the Might and Power of the Universe, and He wants His children to learn how to be Mighty and Powerful also.

We already learned that Paul told the Ephesians that we are chosen by God and predestined according to the plan of Him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of His will, and that God gives His children wisdom and understanding. Paul continues to pray that God will give us the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that we may know God better. Then Paul says:"I pray that your hearts will be flooded

2 Surely you have heard about the administration of God’s grace that was given to me for you, 3 that is, the mystery made known to me by revelation, as I have already written briefly. 4 In reading this, then, you will be able to understand my insight into the mystery of Christ, 5 which was not made known to people in other generations as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to God’s holy apostles and prophets. 6 This mystery is that through the gospel the Gentiles are heirs together with Israel, members together of one body, and sharers together in the promise in Christ Jesus. 7 I became a servant of this gospel by the gift of God’s grace given me through the working of his power. 8 Although I am less than the least of all the Lord’s people, this grace was given me: to preach to the Gentiles the boundless riches of Christ, 9 and to make plain to everyone the administration of this mystery, which for ages past was kept hidden in God, who created all things. 10 His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms, 11 according to his eternal purpose that he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord. 12 In him and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence. 13 I ask you, therefore, not to be

Our precious Lord Jesus has everything for everybody. Forgiveness of sin, healing of diseases and the fullness of the Spirit all come from one source from the Lord Jesus Christ. Hear Him who is the same yesterday, today and forever as He announces the purpose for which He came: “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He has anointed me to preach the Gospel to the poor, he hath sent me to heal the broken-hearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering sight to the blind, to set at liberty to them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord. Jesus had been baptized by John in Jordan, and the Holy Spirit had descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon Him. Being full of the Holy Ghost, He had been led by the Spirit into the wilderness there to come off more than conquerors over the arch enemy. Then He returned of the power in Galilee and preached in the synagogues, and at last He came to His old home town – Nazareth where He announced His mission in the words I have just quoted. For a brief while He ministered on the earth, and then gave His life as a ransom to all. But God raised Him from the dead. And before He went to the glory He told His disciples that they too shall receive the power of the Holy Ghost upon them. Thus, through them. His gracious ministry would 134

continue. This power of the Holy Ghost was not only for a few apostles. but even for them that are afar off. even as many as our God should call (Acts 2:39) even for us in this twentieth century. Some ask, "But was not this power just for the privileged few in the first century?" No. Read the Master's great commission as recorded by Mark, and you will see it is for them that believe in Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 4:6

Ephesians 4:25-32 25 So each of you must get rid of your lying. Speak the truth to your neighbor. We are all parts of one body. 26 Scripture says, "When you are angry, do not sin." (Psalm 4:4) Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry. 27 Don't give the devil a chance. 28 Those who have been stealing must never steal again. Instead, they must work. They must do something useful with their own hands. Then they will have something to give to people in need. 29 Don't let any evil talk come out of your mouths. Say only what will help to build others up and meet their needs. Then what you say will help those who listen. 30 Do not make God's Holy Spirit sad. free gift of grace it transforms (changes) us from the inside to a shining beauty outside. God's mercy is given to us to relieve the pain of the consequences of our sins.

Mercy reminds us that redemptive freedom rescues us from the pathetic condition and misery of our sinfulness.

Once we experience forgiveness from God we must extend that mercy to others by showing them forgiveness. Jesus told us to pray "forgive us our sins as we forgive those that sin against us." Unforgiveness causes bitterness, resentfulness, and anger. Satan's grip on our hearts will be released when we learn to truly forgive those that do harm against us, and we will find inner peace and joy. Forgiveness is the beginning of God's transforming beauty in our hearts.

Have you done a heart check lately? What is going on it there? Are you mad at anybody? Are you upset or resentful about something?God tells us:"Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life."Proverbs 4:23 (NIV)

If you do not understand what is meant by "the wellspring of life" It might help to read the Living Bible translation. ..."guard your affections for they influence everything else in your life."

God is telling us that it is most important to guard and protect our heart because how our heart feels will influence everything in our life.

God is giving you a job - He instructs you to GUARD your heart. Do it with diligence. Diligence means to do it with everything you have, all your might, to give it your number one attention.154

Page 155: just4kidsmagazine.comjust4kidsmagazine.com/GodsKingdom/GKRCbook.docx · Web viewOnce upon a time in a distant heavenly land lived a royal family at Rainbow Castle. The king was named

You may by asking "Why is it so important to guard my heart?"

If your heart is messed up your whole life will get messed up. If you let what other people do upset you and make you angry than you will be miserable. When you do not forgive others you hurt yourself more that you do anyone else. Anger, bitterness, hurt feelings, resentfulness, strife, and being offended will hinder you from being joyful and it will hinder your prayer life. There are lots of problems that are caused just from being angry and upset and not knowing when to let go of things that might upset you.Jesus died for us to have everlasting life in heaven. Jesus also died so that we can live our life in joy, and victory. He wants us to enjoy the journey here on earth.I think it is very sad for Jesus to pay the high price He paid for His children, and then He sees us being miserable, and saying. "I am just trying to make it until Jesus returns."

It is important for our health and well-being to have a great attitude about life. We have a wonderful influence on other people when

they see that we are happy, joyful, peaceful, and living a blessed and victorious life. They will want to know what we have that makes us so happy.

We can preach, and preach and preach; but if our life does not back up what we preach then it is just words. If our life is not an example of Jesus Christ, then we are no different than anybody else.

Jesus told us:"Blessed are the pure in heartfor they will see God."Matthew 5:8 (NIV)

In life, you will have many opportunities to get your feelings hurt. There are many things that happened that seem unfair. This can cause us to become angry. Sometimes people even become angry with God, because they do not understand why something bad has happened to them.

Trusting God means we do not have to ask why something happens to us. When we trust God, we will have peace in our life. When we learn to forgive others and not get offended we will be walking in forgiveness.

MAKE A CHOICE TO TRUST GOD. When you get your attitude worked out God will have good things work out for the best in your life.

Paul wrote the Philippians:"Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."Philippians 4: 5-7

Jesus answered His disciples saying:"I am the way and the TRUTH and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well. From now on, you do know Him and have seen Him."(John 14:6-7)

In the Old Testament in the Book of Exodus God told Moses to build a tabernacle. The tabernacle was a place to enter in to God's Presence. Each piece in the tabernacle points to Jesus Christ. The alter was the place that the animals were sacrificed to God to justify the sins of man. When Jesus died, He was the perfect lamb that was sacrificed for all of man's sins. By accepting Jesus and what He did for us we no longer need to sacrifice animals. We just need to realize what Jesus did and choose Jesus to be our Lord and Savior.

Once the Main Gates are opened the snow-white horse, Sparkle, and the sleek black horse, Freedom, are encouraged into a full on gallop across the bridge towards the meadows beyond. Princess Emerald leans her body forward until her lips are her own horse’s ears. “Let’s show them who the real winner is, Meeker.” Instantly the large cream-colored creature shots forward in a flash of lightning, his muscles rippling beneath the Princess as he gallops out of the Castle after the two other Royal horses. Within seconds Princess Emerald and Meeker reach the others, but they don’t take the lead, instead they remain two paces behind so that the younger Princesses end in a tie. “I won!” Princess Jade cheers. “No, I won!” Princess Turquoise

screams. “You tied.” Princess Emerald calmly says, quickly trying to stop the feud between the two girls. “I have something for the both of you, a very special Christmas gift.” “What is it?” Princess Turquoise eagerly asks. “You have to wait until we get to the Beautiful Meadow first.” The emerald clothed Princess explains. The chatter between the three girls continues until they reach the Beautiful Meadows, when they arrive Princess Emerald dismounts her stallion and reaches into her saddlebag to pull out two small wrapped gifts. Princess Turquoise and Jade dismount their own steeds before moving up to the older Princess. “What is it?” The blonde girl curiously inquires. Emerald hands the smaller of the two gifts to the turquoise dressed Princess, who eagerly unwraps it to reveal a small ring with a single small turquoise stone in the center of the band. “This ring is not an ordinary ring, Princess Turquoise. It is very special, very powerful. It wields a source of strength that comes from the purity of your heart. Paul says in Philippians 4:5-7. ‘Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.’ So when you are afraid,

and when you are challenged by the darkness surrounding you, remember that the kindness in your heart will always over shadow the chaos waging in this world. Keep your heart pure and gentle, keep it loving and forgiving above all else.” Princess Emerald rests a gentle hand on her sister’s shoulder, her blue eyes bearing into the blue gaze of the younger girl. “With Jesus as your Shepherd I know you will always overcome the evil in this world. This ring, this turquoise jewel will mirror the goodness in your heart by emitting strength through you.” Drawing back the Princess with the emerald tunic turns to the jade clothed Princess and hands the second gift to the dark-haired girl. Princess Jade carefully unwraps the present, when the wrapper falls away a beautiful golden cross necklace with exquisite Jade stones lacing the center of the cross is revealed in her soft umber brown palm. “It is beautiful.” She says softly. “Let this cross remind you of the serenity of love that comes from Jesus Christ, when others turn against you or when people hurt you look at the beauty of this cross and remember that the price He paid on the Cross for you is the same price He paid for them. Keep your heart free from the weight of anger and pain, and when they try to slip beneath the cracks lift it to Jesus so He can carry your burdens.” Princess Emerald smiles as she

helps Jade clip the necklace into place. “Let this also be a reminder of your place in your new Royal family, sister.” She leans forward and hugs the younger girl for a brief moment before stepping back. “Thank you, Princess Emerald.” Tears of happiness glisten in the chocolate brown gaze of the youngest Royal Princess. “You are welcome, Jade.” Emerald turns back around to Meeker and reaches into the bigger saddlebag on the other side of the stallion, this time she pulls out a much larger gift. “It’s a bow!” Princess Turquoise exclaims excitedly. “Indeed.” Emerald laughs softly, she hands it to both girls so they can unwrap it together. As soon as the wrapping is out of the way Jade grabs the quiver and Turquoise clings to the perfectly shaped wooden bow. Emerald silently gathers the wrapping on the ground and places it in her saddlebag before taking her own bow and arrow from the side of her horse’s saddle. “Follow me.” She says as she leads the way through the meadow to where a single archery target stands. “This bow and quiver belong to both of you, something you must share until I have taught you the art of archery. I have seen how you two bicker back and forth about sharing toys. When learning to become a true Princess and with learning the skills of mastering the art of wielding a weapon you have to first learn important life lessons, such as sharing with

others.” She explains gracefully. Coming to a halt ten feet from the target she turns to the two younger girls. “Now, who will go first?” “ME!” Both Princess Jade and Turquoise call out in unison; with the echo of their voices blending together they look at each other sharply. “How should you handle this?” Emerald questions. “How about rock, paper, scissors?” Turquoise suggests. “Okay.” Jade agrees. Emerald watches the game of rock, paper, and scissors as the two girls keep tying until finally Jade’s papered hand covers Turquoise’s rock. “I win!” She boasts enthusiastically. “A Princess does not boast over winning a game, a true Princess is a graceful winner. You should always show your competitor respect. For we should treat others the way we would want to be treated. So if you wouldn’t want someone rubbing you losing in your face you shouldn’t rub it in the face of someone else either. Especially when that person is your best friend.” Emerald enlightens. Slowly Jade nods her understanding. “I’m sorry Turquoise, you can shoot the bow first.” She offers kindly as she hands the quiver to Princess Jade. “Thanks, Jade.” Turquoise says. “Very good.” Emerald motions to the target. “Position yourself.” She orders. Turquoise lifts the bow towards the target, but when she tries to fit the arrow she fails to know how to use it. “Let me show

you.” Emerald steps to her sister’s side and lifts her long bow, she grips the body of the yew wooden bow in her left hand and positions her own arrow along the length of her pointer finger then carefully clips the feathered end of the arrow to the string of her bow. Emerald pulls back on the string until the back of her hand is slightly caressing her cheek near her ear, with her elbow held straight so the arrow is held taut she exhales a breath in unison with releasing the arrow. It soars through the air and strikes the center of the target. She retrieves the arrow before returning to the two girls. “Now mirror my posture.” With Emerald’s instructions and help Turquoise is able to get the bow and arrow in the right position, when she tugs back on the string it takes all her effort to get it fully pulled into position. With her hand slightly gracing her cheek she looks at the target and fires the arrow. The arrowhead barely grazes the top of the target. “Not bad for your first shot.” The older Princess encourages. “Jade, now it is your turn.” Turquoise hands the bow over to Jade then steps back a few feet, with Emerald’s help Jade gets her body set in the right position. “Now release the arrow in unison with exhaling a breath.” She explains. At the last possible moment of release Jade looks up to the sky as a eagle flies overhead, because of

her focus being torn from the target the arrow soars over the target and lands in the undergrowth a few yards away. “I’ll get it!” Before the oldest Princess can protect Jade drops the bow and takes off towards the undergrowth, as soon as she disappears behind some bushes she screams. “Dragon!” With her bow in hand Emerald bounds behind the undergrowth, instantly she comes to a halt when she sees a navy blue and maroon infant dragon on the ground with the stray arrow pierced in his left wing. A pain striking sound escapes his jaws as he unsuccessfully tries to get the weapon out of him. “I hurt him, I hurt him!” Jade cries frantically, with wide terrified brown eyes she looks to Emerald. “You have to help him, please.” Princess Emerald knows the evil that the dragons bring to Rainbow Castle; these dangerous creatures have taken many lives away. But in-spite of the knowledge of the evil and darkness the dragons bring she could never turn a blind eye to any creature in need of help, especially if it is wounded by one of her own kin. “Okay, but you two stay back.” She says as Turquoise steps up behind her. Emerald walks over to the wounded beast, he turns his scared yellow eyes to the Princess. Instantly she can see his terror and feel the pain he is in because of the arrow. “Take it easy, let me take the arrow out.” She says

comfortingly. In response, the dragon stops his struggles and watches her as she draws even closer to him. “This is going to hurt, but as soon as the arrow is out your wound will begin to heal.” She explains to the creature. Carefully she crouches down and gently exams how the arrow pierced the wing then skillfully she breaks the arrow that hangs from the back of the wing before pulling the wooden remains out from the front. As soon as the dragon is freed from the arrow he jumps up and tilts back his long neck to shoot out a single flame from his mouth. He flaps his wings happily before jumping at Princess Emerald; knocking her to the ground he nuzzles his muzzle to her cheek. All three girls giggle. “You’re welcome.” Emerald laughs softly, stroking the dragon’s head affectionately. “You can get off of me now.” He leaps off of her and turns to look at the two giggling young Princesses; he tilts his head to the side curiously before bounding over to them. Parting his jaws he releases a low, cute sounding roar before nuzzling his head to their palms. “He’s so sweet!” Jade giggles as the young dragon licks her hand. “Can we take him back to the Castle with us?” Uneasily Emerald considers it for a few moments. “That might not be a good idea, you know how our Kingdom sees the dragons. They are evil creatures that come from the

darkness to destroy Rainbow Castle.” She says. “But look at him, he isn’t evil at all.” Turquoise remarks as she hugs the neck of the dragon, giggling softly as he tickles her with his tongue licking her cheek. “He wouldn’t hurt anyone, would you?” In response the dragon lifts his head and voices his answer. “See.” All three pairs of pleading eyes focus on the Emerald Princess. “Please…” They beg her. “Okay, okay, we can take him with us. But the decision to keep him is completely up to the King.” She gathers the broken arrow and turns back to the Beautiful Meadow. “Come on, gather your bow and quiver.” “He’s going to be the best Christmas present ever.” Turquoise squeals as she and Jade follow after Princess Emerald, the young dragon eagerly trotting at their side. “Our best gift ever, that we will always share.” Jade agrees excitedly. Emerald smiles to herself as she listens to the chatter between the two younger girls, when they reach the horses Jade ties the quiver to her saddle and Turquoise slings the bow over her saddle horn. “Let’s call him Miracle, because he will be the first dragon to ever live in Rainbow Castle.” Turquoise suggests. “I love it!” Jade mounts up onto Sparkle and smiles at the navy blue and maroon dragon. “Let’s go home, Miracle.” Together they head back to Rainbow Castle with the special young

17 Here is what I'm telling you. I am speaking for the Lord as I warn you. You must no longer live like those who aren't Jews. Their thoughts don't have any purpose. 18 They can't understand the truth. They are separated from the life of God. That is because they don't know him. And they don't know him because their hearts are stubborn.

19 They have lost all feeling for what is right. They have given themselves over to the evil pleasures of their bodies. They take part in every kind of unclean act. And they always long for more.

20 But that is not what you have learned about Christ. 21 I'm sure you heard of him. I'm sure you were taught by him. What you learned was the truth about Jesus. 22 You were taught not to live the way you used to. You must get rid of your old way of life. That's because it is polluted by longing for things that lead you down the wrong path. 23 You were taught to be made new in your thinking. 24 You were taught to start living a new life. It is created to be truly good and holy, just as God is.

***Prince Jacinthby Jamie GandyLittle Prince Jacinth is the youngest and smallest of his nine siblings. But the Prince never allows his height or size to discourage him, because he knows that with God on his side he is the mightiest Warrior of them all.

One day on his trip out of Rainbow Castle Prince Jacinth explores the majestic woods of Emerald Forest. The little boy loves roaming the forest by himself, it allows him the peace of mind to abide fully in the Presence of God’s glorious Kingdom. Rainbow Castle is one of the strongest Kingdoms on earth, but Prince Jacinth knows that no mere earthly Kingdom

can ever amount to the Kingdom where God Reigns on His throne.

Emerald Forest is a beautiful place that welcomes all creatures into its sanctuary. But there are also many dangers that seek to harm the Royal Princes and Princess of Rainbow Castle; like the dark dragons. Rarely are there any other animals that look to harm the Children of the Realm, but with the arrival of the darkness of the dragons comes the evil that slips into the hearts and minds of the forest creatures. Once a dragon has control over its subject the only way to break the bind on that animal is for one of the Royal Children to save them. For God has blessed the Kingdom of Rainbow Castle to be a haven for all His creation, so He granted each Prince and Princess a special gift of attributes to save an animal from the darkness of the dragons.

Prince Jacinth walks through the quiet Forest, his light purple and golden robe makes his every stride a mirror of honor and nobility. The blade of his sword sways the slightest bit against his thigh as he effortlessly walks along the trail. The silence of the woods fills his mind with the truth of God’s scriptures, he

marvels within each verse that resounds throughout his heart and soul. The little Prince is so caught up in God’s Word that he is almost completely off guard when a large spotted feline leaps into the path in front of him. In an instant Prince Jacinth’s right hand drops down to the handle of his sword to pull it out of its sheath in one swift movement.

“What do you want, Jaguar?” He asks the predator.

A loud roar rumbles in the back of the cat’s throat. “Little Princes should never wonder out into the woods by themselves.” His voice is part laugh part growl as he takes two steps closer, his forest green eyes narrowing on the young boy. “You could get hurt out here, all by your lonesome.” “I am not afraid of your threats, Jaguar.” Prince Jacinth challenges the spotted creature. “You should be scared, because I will tear you to pieces and leave your remains scattered throughout your Kingdom. No one will ever enter these woods again when I am done with you, Little Prince.” He growls. The Prince doesn’t so much as blink an eye at the Jaguar’s threat; with the handle of his blade clutched in his palm he prepares himself for battle. “I may be little, I

may be small, but I am the mightiest of them all!” He declares.

The Jaguar suddenly springs forward at the young Prince, his sharp white fangs glistening in the light of the sun beaming down through the gaps in the canopy of trees. His large claws rip across the air as his body soars above the ground straight towards the boy. But the speed of the animal is no match for the Prince, for with the discernment of the Holy Spirit the boy anticipates the felines attack and has enough time to swiftly dodge to the left to avoid the animal. Prince Jacinth, with the strength of the Almighty, lunges at the Jaguar. The force of the blow knocks the cat off his paws and sends him into a frantic attempt to regain his footing. But the Little Prince is already one step ahead of the feline. He places the point of his blade against the throat of the Jaguar. “Now, stop this madness. We are not enemies; you are a servant to the King of Kings, as am I. We should not be fighting each other like senseless rebels.” With the Mercy of a true Child of the Gracious King and Queen of the Realm of Rainbow Castle Prince Jacinth lifts his weapon from the animal’s neck, freeing the Jaguar. With uncertainty, the feline slowly rises to his paws, his green gaze wide with questions as

he looks at the Young Prince. “I do not understand; you should have killed me.” He remarks.

Prince Jacinth shakes his crowned head before skillfully withdrawing his saber back into its sheath. “Jaguars are a wise and noble creature, you have a heart of a courageous Warrior. You and I are much the same in that respect. The same as Jesus has forgiven each and every one of us of all of our wrong doings; I am showing you that same kind of forgiveness. I am giving you a second chance, Jaguar.” He explains. The large spotted creature stares in bewilderment at the Young Prince, after a few minutes of silence he humbly bows his head to the Prince. “Thank you, Prince, for your Mercy.” When he lifts his muzzle once again he turns on his heels and disappears into the foliage.

Prince Jacinth watches the cat until he can no longer see the long-spotted tail of the Jaguar. When he is gone, the Prince resumes his walking along the trail. After many long minutes in silence to the right of the trail a small path opens up within the thickness of the trees around him. He turns down the secluded path and walks along it until a small

clearing stretches out in front of him with a bubbling brook flowing with crisp clean water. He is just about to settle on a large boulder a few feet from the bank of the brook when a loud hiss shakes the forest around him. He instantly whirls around as a massive red dragon steps from the canopy of trees, his large amber eyes flaring like lava at the Young Prince.

“Prince Jacinth.” The Reptile’s speech is likened to an echo, rumbling through the sanctuary of the forest with the acid of his breath. “How do you know my name?” Prince Jacinth demands, his sword already drawn from its sheath. “I know everything about this Kingdom, Little Prince. I know you are the youngest child of King Peridot and Queen Amethyst. I know each name of your siblings. I know you are the greatest Warrior among your family, in-spite of your small size.” The deepness of the Dragon’s voice resounds throughout the boy’s mind, inflicting a small spark of fear in the Prince. “There is nothing I do not know.”

With the blade of his sword still pointing at the Dragon’s chest Prince Jacinth swallows hard, doing his best to hide the fear trying to

take control over him. “H…how?” He questions. “I tasted the fruit of Knowledge ages ago, I drank the juices of power long before your Kingdom came into existence.” The scaled creature enlightens, the large flaps of his wings stretch out twenty feet to both sides of his armored body before he folds them back to his side. “There is none more powerful than me.”

“Don’t let him fool you, my Prince.” The voice of the Jaguar speaks from behind the young boy, within seconds the spotted feline steps up to his side. “He is the Dragon of Deception, the one who seeped his darkness into my heart, before your Mercy saved me.” “He is too strong for me, his aged strength will kill me with only a swipe of his claws.” Prince Jacinth mutters discouragingly. The Jaguar shifts his gaze sideways to the Prince, daring to take his eyes off the Dragon for a mere second. “The One that lives in you is stronger than the one that lives in the world. And I will not let you fight this battle alone; I am your companion, your comrade now. Let the Holy Spirit within you lead us to victory.”

The darkness of the Dragon’s laughter shakes the ground around the boy, a sound that

vibrates throughout his whole body. “You and your pet can not defeat me.” He roars. The Reptile rises to his hind legs and once again stretches his wings out to full length, towering over the boy and Jaguar. The Dragon begins flapping his wings, stirring a gust of wind towards the two creatures below him. “You are a mere speck in the dirt, that I will crush beneath my feet!” He growls.

The force of the winds pushes the Prince backwards, making him lose his footing and causing him to stumble. The Jaguar presses his flank against the boy’s side, giving him something to hold onto to keep him standing. “Don’t let him scare you, Prince. Dig deep; use the strength that God has given you. Use the Sword of Truth against the deception of this Dragon. Remember who you are in Christ.”

“I am Prince Jacinth, son of the Most High King. I abide in the Knowledge of the Creator of the Heavens and the earth. I may be little, I may be small, but with the Might of Christ dwelling in me I am the mightiest of all Warriors.” Prince Jacinth lifts his sword high above his head and with a flick of his wrist the

blade slices the air and halts the Dragon’s flapping wings.

“Nice trick, Little Prince.” The Dragon snarls. “But it will take more than just tricks to stop me.” The scaled creature lunges his long neck forward to snap his jaws at the boy. But the Jaguar crouches down swiftly. “Quick, get on my back.” Without protest the Prince slings himself onto the back of the feline, who dashes out of the way of the Dragon’s strike. The Jaguar leaps onto the boulder and kicks off of the ancient stone to fling himself into the air straight towards the Reptile. “Strike him with your sword.” He whispers to the Royal Child.

Prince Jacinth instantly complies by swinging his sword at the Dragon, the creature does his best to dodge the attack but the blade rips into his front leg before he can completely get away. An angry roar from the Dragon quakes the entire forest floor. “Maggot!” He growls. With a flick of his spiked tail Deception rams the large mass of muscle hard against the Jaguar’s body, sending the Prince flying off of his back. The Dragon steps towards the injured feline and places his sharp claws over

“Let him go!” Prince Jacinth rises to his feet and faces the scaled beast. “I won’t let you hurt him.” In response laughter from the Dragon fills the air, his claws clutch down around the Jaguar until a loud roar of pain escapes the cat’s throat.

‘Lord, I need Your help, I need Your strength.’ The Little Prince prays silently, his deep blue eyes close for several seconds as he takes two deep, steady breaths. Almost instantly the source of his strength consumes him, an otherworldly Might that only can come from his Heavenly King. Blinking his eyes back open he lifts his saber high above his head. Immediately the breath of God blows on the steel weapon and a jacinth colored substance, like fire, begins to emit from the center of the sword.

“What…what is this magic?” The Dragon demands in a near frantic tone, he withdraws a few steps, freeing the Jaguar from his clutches.

“Not magic.” The Jaguar remarks as he stumbles to his paws, a grin lifting his lips. “This is the power of the Holy Spirit, the strength of the Almighty.” He retreats to the Prince’s side, kneeling before him. “My Prince.” Prince Jacinth nods to his companion, he then climbs onto the back of the feline. As soon as he is seated on the back of the Jaguar the animal whirls around to face the Dragon.

With jacinth embers sparking from the sword and jacinth flames circling the blade Prince Jacinth raises his weapon. “I may be little, I may be small, but I am the mightiest of them all.” The boy declares just before the spotted cat leaps forward, strengthened by his Prince and the King of Kings the Jaguar is renewed by the Might of Creator of Heaven and earth. With the speed of lightning he jumps high into the air at the Dragon, the Reptile desperately snaps his jaws at his attackers but with a single thrust of his blade the Prince cuts off the head of the beast.

The Jaguar lands gracefully on all fours, he turns just in time to watch the massive body of the red Dragon collapse to the forest floor. Prince Jacinth dismounts to walk over to the head of the scaled creature. “His head I will

How He can destroy the most dangerous of monsters with the most unlikely person imaginable, even with someone as little as me.” He remarks. He sways his sword over the lifeless body and instantly the jacinth flame catches the scales on fire to consume it until nothing is left but the head.

Prince Jacinth takes off his light purple cape and wraps it over the head of the Dragon, he then lifts it over his shoulder and turns to his companion. “You are a Courageous Warrior, Jaguar. From this day forward your name will be known as Courage, my Castle is your Castle.” “Thank you, my Prince.” Courage bows his head in response to the grace of the Royal son. “Come now, my friend, lets go home.” The Little Prince declares as he turns down the path that leads to the trail back to Rainbow Castle.

God has called you to be set apart from those in the world. He has given you the ability to walk in a way that will cause others to know that you are special. For you are divineappointed and chosen by the King of Kings.

"I knew you before I formed you in yourmother's womb. Before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as my spokesman to the world." Jeremiah 1:5 (TLB)

We should have a humble attitude, knowing that apart from God, we can do nothing.

The Queen Praises God"But He gives us more and more strength to stand against all such evil longings, As the scripture says, God gives strength to the humble, but sets Himself against the proud and haughty. So give yourselves humbly to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. And when you draw close to God,

Jesus tells us to feed the hungry and give clothes to those who have less than we have.

Queen Amethyst loves God above everything else. She is a trustworthy woman who is well respected throughout the land of Rainbow Castle. She encourages you with her words. When other women quit, she continues. When other women fall apart, she stands firm. When other women complain, she prays.

Queen Amethyst always finds quite time to spend with God. She seeks His revelation of Knowledge, Counsel and Wisdom. Because of her love and respect for God she is anointed with God's Power and Understanding.

Her favorite perfume is the "Oil of Esther". Fragrance blend of Myrtle for Beauty and dying to self, Cassia Cinnamon for Holy Spirit Fire, and Lavender for Purity.

Amethyst comes from a Greek word that means "sober". To be sober is to be well balanced, self-controlled, and trustworthy.

stones that wound most likely appear in the colors of the rainbow. For example, there are several colors of a Sapphire, blue is the most common. However, I personally believe God is using an Padparadscha Orange Sapphire, which is a more expensive and a rare precious stone. Orange is the second color in the true rainbow. I am not an expert in stones, and therefore I am not sure of the color choices of a Sardius - Carnelian. The Red-Brown color that I found does not fit with the true rainbow order, but I found a light orange-yellow which does fit the spectrum much better. The Jacinth is usually an orange color, but the lighter version again fits the spectrum much more accurately. The stones I choose gives you a general idea, but in no way can it show the brilliance of how awesome the foundation is! I hope this will help you to be somewhat prepared for your arrival to the New Jerusalem. The moat is a ditch around the castle that makes it difficult for attackers to lean a ladder against the wall, or to tunnel up to the wall to break through. Because the moat is very deep with steep walls, it makes attacking a castle difficult. The moat at Rainbow Castle is filled with water that has been diverted from a nearby stream.

The Drawbridge A castle with a moat requires a bridge to the main doors. These bridges are often able to be raised or lowered from the inside by ropes or chains, and a pulley or counterweight system to make the lifting easier. Most drawbridges are made of wood.

The gatehouse is the way in and out of the castle. It is often the most strongly defended point, because it is the place where an enemy is most likely to try to break in. Quite often it includes a portcullis, which is a heavy iron gate that can be lowered, and heavy wooden doors that can be securely fastened. The gatehouse also includes slits from which archers can fire, as well as murder holes, which are holes in the ceiling through which missiles can be fired, or boiling liquids poured onto attackers.

the beautiful Rainbow Castle, and if you head Eastthe Righteous Path will lead you to the Emerald Garden and to the Enchanted Forest. Below read about being Redeemed by accepting Jesus Christ and His Resurrection. The Resurrection of Jesus Christ is central to the Christian faith.

Luke 24:5-7: In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, "Why do you look for the living among the dead? He has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: 'The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.' If Jesus was not raised from the dead, then Christian beliefs don't amount to much, since Jesus himself said that he would be raised from the dead on the third day. On the other hand, if Jesus did rise from the dead, all his claims are true and we can know for sure that there is life after death as He promised. A large volume of evidence exists to support the resurrection claims. In fact, there is more

legal-historic evidence for the resurrection than there is for Napoleon's defeat at Waterloo. There are several reasons why those who have studied the resurrection are convinced beyond a doubt that it is true. The event is well-documented by numerous reliable, historical sources.

Historians such as Josephus (c.37-110 AD), Ignatius (c.50-115 AD), Justin Martyr (c.100-165 AD) and Tertullian (c.160-220 AD) were convinced of the authenticity of the resurrection. Their writings validate the accounts of the Gospel writers, who, according to leading biblical scholarship, recorded the event as soon as 37 AD and no later than 64 AD. In addition, other first and second century historians including Cornelius Tacitus, Suetonius, Plinius Secundus, and Lucian of Samosata acknowledged the impact this incredible event had on the people of the time. There were numerous eyewitnesses to the resurrection.

After he rose from the dead, Jesus appeared at least ten times to those who had known him and to as many as 500 people at one time. These appearances were not hallucinations; Jesus ate and talked with his followers and they touched his resurrected body. Luke 24: 14, 36: Then some of our companions went to the tomb and found it just as the women had said, but Him they did not see." ... While they were still talking about this, Jesus Himself stood among them and said to them, "Peace be with you."

I Corinthians 15: 3-7: For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that He was buried, that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, and that He appeared to Peter, and then to the Twelve. After that, He appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers at the same time, most of whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep. Then He appeared to James, then to all the apostles.

** You have to CHOOSE This Relationship with God

You cross the bridge into God's family when you turn to God by asking Christ to be Lord of your life. God has done His part when His Son died for you, now it's your move.

Turning to God means you are also turning from something. If you turn to the west, you must turn from the east, since you can't face two directions at the same time. It's the same with Jesus and sin. As you turn to Him, you "repent", which means you realize you cannot give yourself to Jesus while hanging onto the sin He died for. That means making a U-turn on "my way" choices such as lying, sexual immorality, anger, etc. & to begin doing things God's way.To choose this relationship, do 4 things:

1. Admit your spiritual need. Admit you are a sinner. 2. Repent and be willing to turn from your sin.

213

Page 214: just4kidsmagazine.comjust4kidsmagazine.com/GodsKingdom/GKRCbook.docx · Web viewOnce upon a time in a distant heavenly land lived a royal family at Rainbow Castle. The king was named

3. Believe that Jesus Christ died for YOU on the cross. 4. Receive Jesus Christ into your heart and life, by choosing this relationship over your current life of sin and separation from Him. How Do We Know This? Romans 3:23 - for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 6:23 - For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Acts 3:19 - Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord. John 1:12, - But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name. Revelation 3:20, - Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and

214

Page 215: just4kidsmagazine.comjust4kidsmagazine.com/GodsKingdom/GKRCbook.docx · Web viewOnce upon a time in a distant heavenly land lived a royal family at Rainbow Castle. The king was named

opens the door, I will come in and fellowship with im & He with me. Romans 10:13, - Whoever will call upon the name of the Lord will be saved.

How do I ask Him? Prayer is simply talking to God, not magic words. You can belong to God from today on if you will pray with all your heart. Your prayer should be your own, from your own heart. If you're not in the habit of praying though, you may need an example. Such a prayer may go something like this -- Pray Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and need Your forgiveness. I repent & confess my sins. I was made for You, but I've been living for me. I want to begin a relationship with You now. I believe that You died in my place, to pay the penalty for my sin, and rose again for my salvation and eternal life. I want to turn from my sins. I now invite You to come into my heart and life as my Lord and Savior. In Jesus' name, Amen.

These four men ride horses that are white, red, black, and pale. The white horse probably represents conquest or the Antichrist. The red horse represents war. The black horse represents famine, and the pale horse represents death.

Some Christians believe that these four horsemen represent the evil that has been in the world since the beginning of time. Others believe that the horsemen represent wars, famines, and death that will be released during the start of the Tribulation.

I looked, and there in front of me was a white horse. Its rider carried a bow, and a crown was placed upon his head; he rode out to conquer in many battles and win the war.

Then he unrolled the scroll to the second seal, and broke it open too. And I heard the second Living Being say, "Come!"

This time a red horse rode out. Its rider was given a long sword and the authority to banish peace and bring anarchy to the earth; war and killing broke out everywhere.

When he had broken the third seal, I heard the third Living Being say. "Come!"

And I saw a black horse, with its rider holding a pair of balances in his hand. And a voice from among the four Living Beings said, "A loaf of bread for $20, or three pounds of barley flour, but there is no olive oil or wine."And when the fourth seal was broken. I heard the fourth Living Being say, "Come!"And now I saw a pale horse, and its rider's name was Death. And there followed him another horse whose rider's name was Hell. 224
