DockBuilders’ Dock Floats are a one-piece rotationally molded part, which eliminates seams that could result in separation and leakage. The 0.150” nominal thick shell is made of extra strong virgin polyethylene containing ultraviolet inhibitors. This tough shell helps prevent damage from the sun, salt water, fresh water, debris, oil, gas, and marine organisms.
Each float is foam filled with expanded polystyrene, which contains no CFCs or HCFCs. DockBuilders’ dock floats have a flat top with molded-in mounting slots for easy attachment to any dock framework; whether wood, steel, or aluminum. Floating docks built with DockBuilders’ dock floats will provide long lasting encapsulated flotation, resulting in long-term savings for recreational docks as well as complex marinas.

DOW StyrofoamTM Billets
**Due to shipping restrictions, billets must be ordered in quantities of 6 or more**
STYROFOAM™ brand buoyancy billets are another smart choice for floating structures. Buoyancy billets may be cut to fit or retrofit into floating dock compartments. They can also be recessed inside the floating dock frame (directly underneath the decking boards) to provide an extremely low freeboard without sacrificing buoyancy, making it a popular choice for kayak/canoe and competitive rowing enthusiasts.
Extremely Buoyant: The closed-cell structure of STYROFOAM™ is comprised of millions of tiny air bubbles providing exceptionally strong and redundant buoyancy. These non-interconnected air cells serve as independent buoyancy chambers so the Styrofoam™ billets will not lose their buoyancy even if punctured.
Rugged: STYROFOAM™ brand buoyancy billets cannot become waterlogged, do not corrode or breakdown into small particles, and provide years of service under normal conditions. They resist the attack of destructive marine growths and are unaffected by salt or fresh water. Their light weight also makes the DOW Styrofoam™ buoyancy billets easier to handle and install, keeping installation costs low!
Styrofoam™ is a Trademark of The Dow Chemical Company.
Note: Consult with applicable permitting agencies to make certain this product conforms to codes and permitting requirements before ordering.

Lift Tanks are Designed to Temporarily Lift floating dock sections to allow for repair and replacement of floats as well as for other temporary lift applications. Lift tanks are hollow, one-piece rotationally molded tanks that can be filled with water to submerge, then refloated by evacuating the water and replacing it with air. The shell is made of extra strong virgin polyethylene containing ultraviolet inhibitors, which is available in our standard 0.300” nominal thickness or heavy wall 0.375” nominal thickness. This tough shell helps prevent damage from the sun, salt water, fresh water, debris, oil, gas, and marine organisms.
Features:•Molded-In Mounting Holes Around the Top Perimeter•1” NPT Threaded Insert for Commercial Fitting•3” Diameter Molded-In Hole Outlets in Bottom for Water Intake and Exhaust.
(We typically ship these uncut and sealed unless otherwise specified, as many of our customers do not want to utilize all outlets for every application.)
•Strong 0.300” or Heavy 0.375” (Nominal) Wall Thickness for Structural Strength

Wave attenuator
The Floating Wave Attenuator system provides an affordable way of dissipating wave action around most mooring areas. This two-part system is comprised of a durable double-flanged top float filled with EPS foam and a hollow bottom shell that fills with water, acting as ballast and helping to attenuate the waves. A wood or metal framework can be secured to the top floats to create a wave attenuation barrier to mitigate wave action. Also, some marinas incorporate wave attenuators into their floating dock design for increased utility, or to simply increase the stability the lower shell’s water ballast affords their floating docks.

Dock Hardware
DockBuilders’ Floating Dock Hardware is designed to help maintain the structural integrity of wood framed floating docks that are subjected to the torquing motion of wind and waves. Unlike upland decks or fixed docks which can be fastened with screws and nails, a floating dock’s frame is subject to torsional stresses that require it to be bolted together. Our framing brackets, hinges, and fasteners provide significant strength and rigidity to the dock frame, thereby adding longer life and increasing the utility of the floating dock. A strong frame will provide a stable platform onto which dock floats and decking materials may be fastened. In addition, a variety of piling hoops, piling guides, and pipe holders provide the means to secure your floating dock.
Features:•¼” Thick Steel Construction•Hot-Dipped Galvanized for Maximum Corrosion Resistance•Assorted Male / Female Hinges for Connecting Dock Sections•Specialty Hinges for Gangway Ramps•Built-in Roller Assemblies on Select Brackets and Piling Hoops/Guides•Pipe Holders and Piling Hoops Ranging from 3” to 18”

Ladders
Straight Ladder Swing Ladder
DockBuilders’ Dock Ladders are made from 6063 T5 marine-grade aluminum and are suitable for fresh and salt water environments. Extruded, grooved, and welded ladder rungs provide a firm grip and easy climbing access, making them the perfect choice for seawalls, fixed docks, and floating docks.
All ladders are now available with standard 2” deep steps or 4” deep steps for added comfort:
Mounting Hardware
Straight Ladder Swing LadderThe Straight Swing Ladder is a classic innovation that allows you to swing the ladder completely above the dock when not in use. A locking pin mechanism locks ladder in either up or down positions.
Recommended for fresh or saltwater environments.
The Straight Ladder, perfect for seawalls and fixed docks, makes climbing in and out of the water a breeze. The variety of standard lengths will accommodate most installations.
Recommended for fresh water environments and areas of minimal marine growth.
Model Shown: L-S3W
Note: All ladders should be cleared of freezing water to prevent damage to the ladder and dock.
Most ladder installations require the use of [4] hex bolts, [8] flat washers, [4] lock washers, and [4] hex nuts. For docks with double outside stringers, you will likely need [2] lag bolts, [2] hex bolts, [6] flat washers, [2] lock washers, and [2] hex nuts.
Stainless steel fastening hardware is recommended.
Quick Disconnect Brackets allow you to quickly disconnect and store your ladder. Ideal for seasonal usage! Works with all ladders except finger-pier and swing style. Constructed from 6063 T-5 marine-grade aluminum.

DockBuilders’ piling caps are an excellent and inexpensive way to protect costly pilings from internal rot. They are made from UV-stabilized polyethylene and are available in ½” increments ranging from 5½” to 18” in diameter. Choose from round cone or round flat, in either black or white. The cone design helps to discourage birds from landing on them.
In addition to the round piling caps, we also offer square piling caps (cone or flat) in many sizes ranging from 3½” to 20”. Our black piling caps have an estimated life of fifteen years, while our white caps have an estimated life of nine years, though the actual life of the piling caps are not guaranteed.

Piling Wrap 60” Wide 0.06”
48” Cable Ties
ITEM# PW-CT48
48” Long Black (175lbs) Cable Ties temporarily hold pile wrap in place for easy nailing.
Piling Wrap Helps Protect Your Piling from marine borers. Our piling wrap is black in color and is a UV stabilized high density polyethylene material that is 0.030” thick and is available in 36”, 48” and 60” widths. Heavier duty 0.060” thick wrap is also available in 48” and 60” widths.
To determine how much piling wrap you need, calculate the circumference (diameter x 3.14) of each piling and add 4-6” for overlap. The 60” wide wrap usually works well in most shallow water applications when only one 60” wide band of wrap around each piling is needed.
In deeper waters, or on applications where you need to wrap more than 60” of the piling, you may want to consider using our 36” or 48” wide wrap as an option. You can install the 36”or 48” wide wrap vertically at any length you desire.
We recommend installing the wrap using 1¼-1½” stainless steel ring-shank roofing nails. For best results, nails should be installed every 1½-2” along the seams. Spacing the nails further apart will allow barnacles to attach & grow between the nails under the seam. Over time, the barnacles will grow and cause the piling wrap to break free of the nails and come unwrapped.

The SlideMoor™ Floating Dock Mooring System “FDB” is the evolution for securing floating docks. The SlideMoor FDB is a better alternative to hoops, rollers, or any other mechanical attachment. Using the SlideMoor Patented Technology, the FDB is easily fixed to pilings or seawalls, and provides a secure, long-lasting fastening system for your floating dock.
The SlideMoor FDB can be mounted either to the top or side of the floating dock. The 18 inch FDB is typically used for midsized / commercial docks.
Please review the SlideMoor™ page on our Website for details.

SlideMoor™ is a boat docking system that brings together many of the advantages of a floating dock with the appeal of a traditional fixed dock. The system makes docking safer and easier while mitigating the risks associated with tidal change, wind, and wave activity.
SlideMoor™ takes the guesswork out of tying up your boat, solving many of the docking and mooring issues encountered by boaters. This simple, yet effective system, secures your boat tightly to a sliding bumper on one side only. Fastened to your piling, marine-grade aluminum tracks are available in lengths up to 25 feet to accommodate most tidal swings.
SlideMoor™ eliminates the need for fenders, bumpers, spring lines, bowlines, stern lines, mooring whips, and outer tie pilings.
The vertical motion caused by waves and tides moves the maintenance-free slide up and down with the boat. Lateral movement is practically eliminated with the system. Loading and unloading becomes safer and easier because the boat is tied tightly to the SlideMoor™ bumper, merely inches from your dock.
Please review the SlideMoor™ page on our Website for details.

TideSlide Mooring Products provide safe and secure tie-up and free vertical movement of your boat. TideSlides are constructed of Type 316 stainless steel and ultra high molecular weight polyethylene, a combina-tion that will stand up to the harshest conditions.
TideSlide products are compact and mount totally out of the way. TideSlide’s unique patented design allows the unit to “ride” waves, wakes, and tides and still provide rotational movement of the mooring block. Any boat, yacht, or ship will benefit from the reduced mooring stresses that are realized from uti-lizing TideSlide mooring products.
TideSlides eliminate the slack line nec-essary in conventional tie-up, remov-ing the guesswork on how long lines need to be for any given tide. Simply pull up to the dock and tie-up with nice, snug lines. Without slack in the lines, excess energy is not generated with your boat springing against the lines. TideSlide’s vertical movement absorbs the built up energy and allows your boat to be safely and securely held while winds, waves, and the tide do their thing.

Made from super elastic isoprene natural rubber, the self-locking internal system design eliminates chaffing. These LineSaver Mooring Snubbers help prevent mooring line breakage along with compensating for sudden jolts and excess stretching of lines beyond parting strength. The LineSaver also provides maximum protection against the stress caused by wind, waves, and wakes.

Mooring Buoys (Sur-Moor)The sole purpose of the mooring buoy is to support the mooring chain. The two preferred designs for mooring buoys are a traditional buoy with hardware or a buoy with a tube through the center. Both offer reliable flotation and will last for several seasons, depending upon the salinity of the water. Freshwater applications will extend the useful life of any mooring system. A permanent mooring system, when properly designed, should securely position a boat so that it can be left unattended, with little attention, for long periods of time. Each system usually consists of a mooring buoy (to float the chain), a mooring anchor, and a length of chain that runs between the anchor and the mooring buoy. Also, the proper ground tackle includes correct-sized galvanized shackles and swivels. Always keep in mind that the mooring system is only as reliable as the current conditions of the environment. All Taylor Made Sur-Moor™ Buoys are built to withstand the constant abuse of most mooring environments.

Flip-up cleats are great for applications where safety on the dock may be a concern. They remain folded down into a low-profile base when not in use and can simply be flipped up for easy use. They are fabricated from aluminum for corrosion resistance. The mounting holes on these cleats are recessed so that the bolts stay clear of the attached lines.
Clever Cleat provides a fast, convenient, and reliable way to secure marine lines without the difficulties and frustrations of complicated knots.
The Clever Cleat secures ropes very effectively using a combination of spring pressured teeth and rope positioning. By simply depressing the plunger, the bottom teeth lower, which allows you to easily loop the rope around the cleat base a couple of times under the gripping area. Release the plunger to allow the teeth to bite and your rope is now secure.
Our durable, cast iron cleats will last for years. They are hot-dipped galvanized (HDG) to protect from the elements and are cast with 2 recessed hex bolt holes for easy installation using hex bolts. Galvanized dock cleats are a very economical solution for your docking needs.
Our cast aluminum, straight dock cleats offer a traditional look that will add a touch of class to your dock. The corrosion-resistant aluminum composition will allow them to last for years, even in harsh marine environments. They can be mounted horizontally or vertically and feature recessed hex bolt holes for easy mounting using ½” hex bolts.
Our S-Cleats are fabricated from aluminum for corrosion resistance. This cleat is “S” shaped which makes it easier to loop the lines around the horns. The ½” mounting holes are recessed so the bolts stay clear of attached lines.

Taylor Made Oil-Free D-Icer™ is Energy Efficient and Pollution-Free! Innovative motor design, high-efficiency, and extra features to leave the competition behind. Powerful, submersible, motor-driven water circulation unit helps prevent ice formation during winter months by continuously propelling warmer subsurface water up to the surface which is ideal for use around a boat or dock. The unique one-piece shroud design prevents large debris from being sucked through and damaging the propeller, a major cause of failure in other ice prevention devices.

The Solar Sky Light with IR sensor is an intelligent outdoor lighting system that provides powerful lighting into an all-in-one compact, easy to install package. During the day, the highly efficient solar panel collects energy from the sun and stores power in the advance lithium battery. At night, the powerful LEDs automatically turn on providing ambient light for all to enjoy.
When motion is detected, the super bright LEDs double in brightness to provide an abundance of extra lighting for anyone in the area. After 5 minutes or when motion is no longer detected, the light drops down in brightness to conserve power. This intelligent feature allows the Solar Sky Light to save power when no one is in range or utilizing the light, meaning much longer run times than you would expect from similar size solar lighting. The IR sensor is the practical way to enjoy brighter than normal light when needed (when someone is near)!
• Self Sufficient• No Electrical Cost• Easy to Install• No Wires or Cables Needed• Long Lasting Lithium Battery• Integrated IR sensor• Compact Design• Cost Savings

The World’s First Solar Powered Silhouette Illuminating Buoys are the safest available. Not only can you see the buoy at night, you can actually read the message! This unit is equipped with new, patent pending magnet technology. Swipe the magnet over the solar panel at night to change between 7 brightness levels for user adjustable brightness and run times. Hold the magnet for 5 seconds, and you can change between white, blue, or amber illuminating LEDs! That’s right, a simple swipe and you can adjust the brightness, run time, and LED color!
The powerful solar panel collects the sun’s energy during the day. At night the integrated circuit automatically turns on the super bright LED which illuminates the entire body of the buoy. The labels create shadows of the message, logos, and bands, that allow boaters to visibly read the buoy’s message at night.
Choose from the many label options listed above.
Manufactured from rotationally molded polyethylene for uniform thickness makes this buoy virtually indestructible! Resistant to damage from most collisions or harsh environmental forces.
Highly visible reflective labels, bands, and symbols increase day and night visibility. Powerful 4 watt solar panel ensures all night run-times even on cloudy days.
Solar Powered Illuminating Buoys are a safer alternative to unlit traditional Buoys.

Wood Sealer
WOOD Rx Ultra utilizes proprietary technology to provide sheer protection for a more natural look. WoodRx Ultra employs a superfine particle size that offers increased penetration for improved water repellency and more uniform wear. Wood Rx Ultra spreads effortlessly and evenly, resisting the lapping characteristics inherent in most transparent wood sealers. Wood RX Ultra is recommended for all climates and wood surfaces. With no toxic ingredients, and a VOC of less than 50 g/l, it is one of the most environmentally friendly products on the market. Product may be applied with a pump sprayer and cleaned up using only soap and water.
Wood Rx Original
Wood Rx Ultra
WOOD Rx Original formulation is a technologically advanced water-based finish that effectively penetrates, seals and protects exterior wood surfaces. Its 100% acrylic formulation provides superior flexibility and adhesion. It allows wood surfaces to breathe, protects against water and moisture penetration, provides maximum protection against mildew and algae growth, and contains powerful UV screeners which filter out the sun’s harmful rays. In addition, WOOD Rx is environmentally friendly which is an increasing concern in today’s marketplace. Wood RX original formulation is only recommended for tropical climates that do not experience freeze/thaw conditions.

Tieback rods are hot dipped galvanized horizontal rods that are used to reinforce retaining walls and sea walls. One end of the rod gets secured to the wall and the other gets anchored to a stable structure, such as a concrete deadman, that is anchored beneath the ground with sufficient resistance.
The tieback/deadman system resists forces, such as backfilled soils plus rainwater, that would otherwise cause the wall to lean. Always consult an engineer to be certain the tie rods you select are appropriately sized for your project.

Nuts & Washers SS Type 304Hex Lag SS Type 304
Hex Bolt SS Type 304 Carriage Bolt SS Type 304Type 304, 305 and 316 stainless steels are nickel/chromium, austenitic grades of stainless steel and are inherently non-magnetic. Type 304 and 305 provide more than adequate corrosion protection in most commonly encountered applications.
Type 316 contains slightly more nickel than 304 and 2-3% molybdenum giving it better resistance to corrosion than 304, especially in chloride environments that tend to cause pitting. It offers superior performance when exposed to sea water and resists corrosion from sulfuric acid compounds.

The Barnapole barnacle removal tool is an innovative device used to scrape barnacles, oysters, mussels and other crustaceans from your seawall or dock pilings. The Barnapole easily attaches to any standard threaded pole (paint roller or broom handle). The Barnapole’s curved and flat scraper blades are made of solid stainless steel, and the handle attachment block is made from a solid aluminum extrusion. This combination of stainless steel and aluminum allows the Barnapole to withstand harsh marine environments.
If you’ve used a shovel or spade in the past, then you know it will only remove about an inch or so of growth with each pass, and you occasionally gouge the piling. The Barnapole is engineered specifically for pilings and seawalls and can remove up to 9 inches of buildup with each pass, saving you time and money. Also, Barnapole is designed to be used from the top of your dock, so there is no need for you to get in the water!
