1) To create a new revision, go into the Authoring mode and open any published document.

2) Click on the New Revision button.

3) Now a new copy of the document has been created and you can edit the document and save it as a draft.

Note: When a new revision of a document is being created, the original document remains published and available to read-only users.

4) The document can again go through the review and approval process as described in previous tutorials.

5) Once the new revision has been published, the document version number is automatially incremented.

6) At the same time, the previous version is archived and stored with its entire content and history.
