Adult dogs looking for forever homes (over 1 year)
Jacky is STILL looking for his forever home. He has been up for adoption since he was 4 weeks old and is now 2 years old! He is a great addition to any family!! Jacky is a great family dog. He is currently being fostered with 4 dogs, 2 cats and has no problems with any of the animals. And he adores kids! He needs to be treated as a loving and integral part of the family. He is a very alert boy and he loves to play and thinks he is just a big kid himself. Jacky enjoys being close to people and being apart of whatever is going on including jumping on the trampoline with the kids and playing with the other dogs. He listens well and even gives paw before his food. After a busy day of playing he enjoys cuddling up with his foster family and giving hugs.
Princess is an adorable one year old girl who loves to play. She gets on fine with cats and other dogs, although can sometimes be a bit boisterous. When she is reprimanded she has the ability to look like butter wouldn't melt in her mouth and then all is forgiven. She would love a home where someone will play with her as she love her foser mom's 8 year old daughter (and all her toys!). She can sometimes be a bit skittish, but once she knows you she totally relaxes. She loves to sprawl out on the couch or the bed and sleeps like a baby, even talking in her sleep She has been spayed and her vaccinations are up to date.
Danny is the very definition of a dog. He's loyal, loving, attentive, playful, good & he just wants to be with people. He is very alert too! Danny is a very sweet and soft natured boy. He is not that big, he comes to about just under your knee. Him and his 2 siblings were rescued when they were just 4 weeks old. He is very shy at first and a bit nervous but will warm up quickly if you are just patient with him and give him the space to come to you. Danny is a metro man and very much in touch with his feminine side. He a soft boy, both inside and out. He will place his little paw on your arm to attract your attention and to let you know it is cuddle time. He loves being around people and sleeping at your feet. He is active when he has other doggie friends to play with and is great around dogs, cats and kids! He is a perfect baby for anybody who loves a soft boy.

Dutchess is a feisty little girl, she doesn't like to sleep on anyone's lap, she likes to sleep alone on the carpet.
She does however like to curl up and sleep next to her brother in their bed though. She enjoys her fair share of rough
and tumble. She also likes to be in the garden exploring. She loves attention but is also a very independent little girl.
Duke is very calm, he loves to sit on ppl’s lap and sleep. He is pretty content when he is left alone with
Dutchess. He will play with his toys and have a sleep in his bed or tumble with Dutchess. He likes to be cradled in
someones arm and have his tummy tickled. He gobbles down his food like its his last meal.
Even after all the hardship he's endured and after having to loose his
one hind leg after he was hit with a panga, he is still one of the most
loving, friendly, loyal dogs you will ever meet. Gets along great with
other dogs (and pretty much anything with a heartbeat) and will make a
great addition to any home.
Charlie was once a pup who was limp and dying from Biliary. He could not even
stand to go to urinate. Luckily he had a very strong will to survive and pulled
through! He is now an active and charismatic little boy who loves to play. He
also speaks to you when he wants something – very cute! Very clever and
house trained. He really does enjoy the company of other dogs but he is best
suited to a home with 1 or more large females as a companion(s) or can be an
only dog. He can tend to get jealous though so needs a strong owner who will
be firm but kind with him and set boundaries for him. No small children. He is
fine with cats and he is a very loyal pooch.

Tina is such a sweet heart and she is house trained! She is the perfect family
dog. She has such a gentle nature about her. She is excellent with kids, and
other dogs and is not phased about cats either.
Nakita was severely abused by a man who dragged her behind a bicycle and
kicked and beat her so badly that she had to have an emergency hysterectomy
due to the severity of her injuries. At first she was so timid that you couldn't get
within a few meters of her. She was emaciated and a broken soul with no
confidence and no idea what it love is. However, after just a few weeks she
began to trust and as her physical injuries healed so did her emotional ones.
Today she is the most loving dog you will ever meet. Quite demanding for love
in fact! She is great with other dogs, fine with cats, good with people and kids
as well. She still does not enjoy a leash or anything around her neck but other
than that you couldn't ask for a better dog. She loves to play especially with
any toy that squeaks! And she loves getting Italian kisses (kisses on either
cheek). A perfect family companion.
Smieggles has a very soft and lovable nature and loves to cuddle!he is a very
busy boy who loves to play and is very lively. He will brighten up anyone's day.
He absolutely adores children and humans and is great with other dogs. He is
also fine with cats.
Spikkels is a very lovable and sweet boy who is very lively and loves to play with
dogs of any size. He also is a big cuddler! He is great with people and other
dogs and fine with kids as well but tends to chase cats.

Emma is a gorgeous girl who has been very abused. She is very scared
of men still but has a ton of love to give. After a short time in foster
care- she is already playing up a storm with her foster mom's dog and
her confidence is beginning to grow. She will need a home that will be
very kind and patient with her and that is well secured with high walls
as she can jump quite high. She needs someone to show her the good
love and treat her like the queen she is.
Mia is a stunning little girl. When we picked her up she was incredibly
skinny and had 2 young pups (no more than a few days old) that she
was trying to care for despite being sickly herself. She was an excellent
mom! She has the sweetest, kindest personality and just wants love.
She sticks to you like velcro and follows you around not leaving your
side for a minute. She doesn't have a nasty bone in her body! She just
wants love and to lie on your lap and thinks of herself as a big lap dog.
She is starting to play and has no problem with other dogs or even cats.
She will make an ideal family pet for anyone!
Oscar is 1 year old, extra large breed. He is very loving and protective
and will require a special home that understands his needs. Should not
be homed with young children or tiny dogs (chihuahua size) or cats. He
is great with other dogs. He loves to swim and needs lots of exercise. He
must sleep indoors. He will need a highly secure property with high
walls. If you are interested in adopting Oscar and would like to find out
a bit more about his personality and if he would fit into your
home/lifestyle please email us.

Jessie has the sweetest, laid-back temperament (and some melt-your-
heart brown eyes). She loves a cuddle and for now, her favourite things
are just soaking up the sun or plonking down in her basket. We’ve got a
little dog (female) and Jessie has been patiently and obediently
listening to her. Although she only has three legs, she makes up for it in
spirit. She already goes down the stairs without a problem. She’s still a
bit unsure about climbing the stairs, but it’s only going to be a matter of
time. We’ve taken her for really short outings in our commons area (as
our garden is quite small) and her tail is already wagging when the
leash comes out. Jessie’s still quite thin, but she has a good appetite.
She’ll soon look even prettier. In this photo, she’s waiting for a biscuit
after obeying the ‘sit’ command. Such a good girl!
Hymie is the cutest little character! He is great with other dogs,
very obedient, house trained and highly intelligent. He can even
do tricks like high 5 and roll over and has taught himself to
open doors lol. He will do ANYTHING for food! He loves to go
swimming and enjoys cuddling next to you in bed but will sleep
in his own bed if you tell him to. He would make a great addition
to a loving family.
Sandy is a magnificent girl that was abandoned in the township
with no home. She is approximately 5 years old. She has a
stunning, gentle nature and adores being cuddled and kissed.
She is very intelligent and well mannered and cocks her head
when you talk to her to show she is listening. She has great
manners already and listens to basic commands. She is
perfectly fine with other dogs. She will make a great family pet!

Puppies for Adoption (under 1 year)
Courts an independent little soul who loves exploring. She is 8 months
old. She is full of fun and adventure and enjoys a good game with
anyone willing to play. She has the cutest little crooked ear. Courts is
well socialized with a large pack of dogs of a variety of sizes and
breeds. She is however not good with cats and tends to chase them.
Snoopy came into our care after his owner last everything in a shack fire
and wanted a better life for his little dog. Snoopy is a 9 months old very
energetic and sociable young boy. He is super cute and seems fine with
cats and is good with kids as well. He will make a great addition to any
family.
Harmony was surrendered unwanted at one of our spayathons. She is
just under a year old. She was very thing and shy. However, after her
first night in foster care she quickly warmed up and it didn't take more
than one ask for her to come and cuddle next to her foster mom on the
couch. She is great with other dogs and by the next day was already
playing. She is very affectionate and just wants to be with people and
be getting loves. A great addition to any family!
He is playful and sweet and loves my dogs. He has started to play with
one of them so has to be locked up more in his cage to stop him from
hurting himself due to his broken leg. He learns quickly; I taught him to
down in his bed in 2 hours! He is a bit naughty and bites too hard when
playing although I think when he can run and play he will be able to use
up energy on that instead of playing with my feet. He is part alsation but
he won't be very big; I think medium sized. He would like a home where
he sleeps inside, is part of the family and can play with children and
dogs. He will need some patience to train him and would do very well in
a home where training is part of his life.

Please note that all adoptions are pending a home check and there is an adoption fee of R450 which includes a
microchip, deworming, up to date vaccinations (thereafter is on your own account) and sterilisation if they are over 6
months. Puppies that are adopted under 6 months will need to be sterilised when they reach 6 months- this can be
done at your private vet or at one of our vets for an additional R450.
Sterilisation of the dogs is not negotiable as we believe it is unfair to bring more dogs in to this world while there are
so many being put to sleep because of over population. Furthermore there are health benefits in sterilising your dog
and it can help many avoid behavioural issues. Sterilisation saves lives!
