Cut the calories in your favorite summer salads We all love creamy potato salad, mac-n-cheese, and egg salads. The problem is the fat content. Most spring and summer salads are loaded with high-fat ingredients like mayo and sour cream. Here are a few recipes to try that are big on flavor and smaller on the fat!

SLEEP Are your devices affecting your sleep?

©2015 United HealthCare Services, Inc.

Are you tired in the morning? Feeling off your game? A little foggy headed? Maybe it’s that hour or two of surfing the web or reading an e-book that you did before bed the night before. A recent study by the National Institutes of Health found that people who read from light-emitting devices took longer to fall asleep and spent less time in REM sleep which can affect mood, learning and memory. So before you go to bed, turn it off!

Take 15-30 minutes to unwind, perhaps with an old-fashioned paper book.

1 2 For a good night’s rest: Silence or turn off all devices.
