SCIENCE FAIR RESULTS As part of the fourth grade curriculum, each student is required to do a Science Fair project for a grade. Last Thursday, judges

came to Sunny Heights to view all the projects. It was a very hard decision and one of the best years for our student projects according to the judges. Our winners for the Science Fair are: 1st place – Luke Rappe’, 2nd place (tie) – Alex Hernandez & Blessing Carson, 3rd place (tie) – Joseph Glenn & Alexys Shepherd. The following students received

certificates in various categories: Outstanding Presentation – Andrew Triplett, Dae’Shawnda Smith, My’Jah Mintze, Blessing Carson, Joseph Glenn, Asianae Mitchell, Alex Hernandez, Alexys Shepherd and Cody Watson; Best Use of Technology – Kiriah Butts; Using Resources Wisely – Manya Hillman; Original Interpretation of

an Idea – Luke Rappe’. All students who participated in judging received a participant ribbon. Good job, everyone!!

ALOHA! Aloha! Please mark your calendars to join us on Thursday, April 19th at Sunny heights Elementary for the Book Fair Luau and Read-A-Rama. Bring your family for a fun-filled evening. Activities include shopping at the Book Fair, lei making, learn to dance the hula, learning about Hawaiian culture, and lots more. Hope to see you there! Aloha!

BOOK FAIR LUAU The Book Fair is coming, the Book Fair is coming! Our spring book fair is right around the corner. Classes will visit the fair during school time from April 16th thru April 20th. Families are invited to join us for our Family Night on Thursday, April 19th from 6:30-8:00 p.m.

Pendulum to areas around sign posts, light poles, and next to buildings.

RESCHEDULED LUAU DANCE! Make plans to come to the PTA sponsored Spring Dance on Friday, April 13

th, from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. Volunteers are needed

for set-up, clean-up and preparation! Admission is free and tickets will be sold for 25 cents each for refreshments. Bring

your dancing shoes!

WILL YOU BE ATTENDING SUNNY HEIGHTS NEXT YEAR? Within just a few short months, the 2011-2012 school year will be drawing to a close. In order to facilitate a smooth transition to the next grade for your child, we are asking you to notify the school office if you will NOT be returning to Sunny Heights for the 2012-2013 school year. MSD WARREN TOWNSHIP KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION The Metropolitan School District of Warren Township will host an open enrollment night on Monday, April 23, at

7:00 p.m. for parents who are interested in enrolling their child in kindergarten for the 2012-13 school year. The

Kindergarten Roundup events will be held at each elementary school. For additional information about Kindergarten

Roundup, please call the Warren Education and Community Center at 869-4300.

WARREN WELLNESS EXTRAVAGANZA – FITNESS FITS EVERYONE! Mark your calendars for the 7

th annual Warren Wellness Extravaganza. Warren Township is proud to partner with Community Health

Network to bring you this exciting event scheduled for April 16, 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Warren Central Field House. During our two-hour

event, families will be exposed to many different physical activities, sample healthy snacks, receive information about summer sports

camps, and much more. Look for the bright green flyer coming with this bulletin for more information. Plan to join us because Fitness
