Vote Yes on Measures GG + HH + II

Endorsed by Monterey ParkPolice Officers and Firefighters

Protect Public Safety & Invest in Monterey Park

Measures GG + HH create revenue and direct the City Council to fund much needed improvements to equipment vital to our police and fire departments while also improving streets, sidewalks and the library.

Measures GG will generate approximately $4,000,000 per year from a ¾ cent sales tax increase, but will not apply to groceries, prescription medications and medical supplies. Measure GG will fund the infrastructure improvements the City greatly needs.

Measure II updates the City’s Land Use Element, as required by State Law, to define the amount and types of open space and development in Monterey Park. The goal is to improve future use and reuse of land while supporting the community’s desire to protect residential neighborhoods, local business and parks.
