In Windows, animations that you see in the browser (Internet Explorer or Firefox) can simply be dragged and dropped into a Powerpoint slide.

This is the simplest way to put a static image or an animation created in Polyview-3D into a Powerpoint slide.

In Windows, the animations play well in slides created in this easy way.

Here are some static images copied and pasted on the Mac.

• In the BCRC, this animation (multi-GIF) was saved from Safari to the Desktop, then opened in a Powerpoint slide. To save, control-click on the animation in the browser.

• Animations in Powerpoint slides are animated only when the slideshow is played (full screen).

• In BCRC Powerpoint, the animation is very slow/jerky, skipping frames.

• But when the .ppt file created in the BCRC with Mac Powerpoint is moved to Windows XP, it plays very well in Windows Powerpoint.

In Mac Powerpoint, dragging and dropping does not work for animations.
