While the first few months of 2020 were relatively normal, the

onset of the pandemic brought public health restrictions that challenged our volunteers to find new ways of connecting with our patients. Our

volunteers rose to the occasion by:

Making masks for staff, patients/families, and the community.

Making phone calls to patient, families, and the bereaved.

Writing and sending notes and cards to patients, families, and field staff.

Running errands for our patients and families.

Doing administrative work from home.

Organizing HosPet parades outside of congregant living facilities.
