ART While in player and team control in its backcourt, a player shall not cause the ball to go from backcourt to frontcourt and return to backcourt, without the ball touching a player in the frontcourt, such that he/she or a teammate is the first to touch it in the backcourt. Problem sometimes is the help defender is where the crash occurs Maybe a better train of thought is that the C has the dribbler and the primary defender, but a secondary defender MUST be officiated by L since there is no way the C could determine how/when the secondary defender got here (LGP or not). An even better argument might be that the L rotate to be there to make the call and to actually have a look between the dribbler and defender.
