Task: “Los juegos del hambre”

Situation

You have been nominated to participate in the show called Los juegos del hambre (The Hunger Games). This is

not your typical game show where you have to kill to survive. What you must do is to show your survival skills

by finding and using your own resources. You will be provided with help as long as you can complete some of

the obstacles given on a weekly basis. But before you are taken to the island, you must decide on two items that

you can have throughout your time in the show. No one can take these items away from you because these are

the only items you are allowed to bring. So choose wisely. May the odds be in your favor.

Subtask 1: Choosing two items

When you are at home, you find eight items that will help you survive. From these eight you must think

carefully and decide on two items to bring. Please state below which of these two items you will bring.
