P&C Meeting this Thursday Our last P&C meeting for the term will be held this Thursday 4 July at 3.30pm. Please join us if you can, for just an hour, as we finalise our Term 2 spending and plan our Term 3 support and programs. Fathers’ Day will be next on our event list followed by our Bunnings BBQ date on Saturday 21 September. Enjoy the winter holiday break.

Great Play Awards Well done to Colby Gibson, Makayla Connell, Mia Watts and Haydan Field, Week 9 winners of the Playground Great Play Award. Thank you to the P&C for their support of this award.

Talent quest Last week's Talent Quest proved great timing as it was much needed entertainment during the wet weather lunch breaks. We saw many students perform for the first time with a strong focus on singing and dance. We also enjoyed a drawing demonstration, a contortionist routine, hoola hoops and jokes. Congratulations to all performers, we thoroughly enjoyed watching your talent. NAIDOC on the PLATEAU- Friday 5 July

All plateau primary schools will join us on Friday for our annual NAIDOC on the Plateau event. This year we've planned a great line up of workshops for all students. Students will be grouped according to their year level rather than mixed age groups. Grouping this way has allowed us to carefully plan the workshops in line with student ability. At 12:30pm we will welcome the Waajaar Ngaarlu Dance group followed by outdoor games in the afternoon. We thank Debbie Duroux and the NPWS staff, the Lands Council and Cascade EEC for assisting with the organisation of this day. A great way to celebrate NAIDOC Week and a splendid finish to the term. Parents and friends are most welcome to join us at any time throughout the day. Please see the included invitation for more information. Public Speaking Tomorrow, four of our students - Hanna Foster, Josephine Eppler, Sam Krishnan and Lucy Spencer - will participate in the Multicultural Perspectives Public Speaking competition at Sandy Beach PS. Mrs Wilkinson will be the supervising teacher. Best wishes in the challenge.

Debating Our debating team's next round of competition is at William Bayldon PS on Thursday 25 July 2019. Information notes have been sent home today. Our final round of debating will be on Wednesday 14 August 2019 at our school. We welcome parents to attend.
