CAL @ AT&T PARK
Safety & SecuritySecurity measures at AT&T Park are different than what would happen at Memorial Stadium. Here are some things you need to know:
- If you get arrested (e.g. public intoxication, fighting, failure to comply with police, etc…), you may land in a San Francisco jail and not a Berkeley jail. Being jailed could also include a citation and/or $100 fine.- If you return to campus late at night, please utilize the Free Night Safety Services and remember to take Personal Safety Precautions.
Safety & SecuritySecurity measures at AT&T Park are different than what would happen at Memorial Stadium. Here are some things you need to know: All students MUST bring their Cal ID card for entry into AT&T Park. No alcohol. A full security screening will be conducted prior to entry. Travel with friends and make sure everyone returns to campus safely. If you see violent behavior in the stands, say something! AT&T security and UCPD will be around and be clearly identifiable. UCPD will have a presence at the student gate and will give out $100 citations to students who violate the Code of Student Conduct. Citations given out by UCPD may mean additional sanctions imposed by the Center for Student Conduct, depending on what was done. * The Center for Student Conduct has a bank of money generated from fines that must be used for outreach. This money has not been spent over the last several years resul_ng in a bank of $12,000. It is projected that the fines generate $1,500 -‐ $2,000 annually. Due the buildup of several years of fines, Student Conduct has the money to cover all of their 2011-‐12 expenses without using any of the DOS Marke_ng Budget. aowever, moving forward that $1,500-‐$2,000 will not completely cover their annual marke_ng needs. So a projected budget of $16,650 should be used to plan for future years.
