» Editorial comment: Details of this case report havepreviously been published from an abstract [see Reactions 1360p17; 801160705]. In the full paper, the authors additionallystate that the patient started receiving sertraline tablets50 mg/day, increased to 100 mg/day over a 4-day period.Sertraline was subsequently discontinued due to epigastric pain,and dosulepin 75 mg/day was started the next day. She showedsigns of hypomania and extrapyramidal syndrome about1.5 days after starting dosulepin. Her hypomanic symptomscontinued for 4.5 days, while her extrapyramidal symptomsresolved within 10 days of onset.
