2. This double page spread is effective due to the main image used as it is a good quality image leaving a lot of negative space making the page nice to look at and not cluttered. The text used also makes the page stand out and the slight use of coloured text is subtle yet effective in making parts of the text stand out. The use of a drop cap allows the audience to see where new information is available in the article and also breaks the page up so that it does not look to text heavy. 3. I also think that this double page spread is effective the use of shapes that break up the page are good because it makes the page eye catching and interesting to the consumer. The way the text is aliened to the left to go around the shapes is also interesting to the consumer as it makes the page interesting to look at. The use of a whole page as an image makes the page eye catching as a shape highlights part of the image.
