From Dan & Amber Sweaza - Connect Church, Calgary We have found a location for our Sunday worship services this fall! We will be meeting a local movie theater just north of our house. This is a HUGE answer to prayer and we are very grateful to those of you who prayed over this situation during the past few months.

On April 3rd, we hosted our first Interest Meeting for Connect Church. We invited anyone and everyone we knew in Calgary to join us for dinner at a local restaurant for a meal and a chance to hear more about Connect Church.

We really had no idea what to expect. By the end of the evening, 63 people had shown up! Wow! We were completely overwhelmed. This is a huge number anywhere, but in a thoroughly secular city like Calgary, it is particularly exciting. It means we are on the right track in how we are approaching our community.

But not only did people show up, we had an incredible response! Five new people committed to our launch team (bringing our current number to 16), and 18 other people/couples said they were interested and wanted to hear more about Connect! We are gaining real momentum ahead of our launch this September!
