From the Veggie Patch Panel - Cream (A), cut:• (3) 8 ½” x 42 ½” strips, piece as needed.

From the Bunny Toss - Cream (B), cut:• (2) 4 ½” x 42 ½” strips, piece as needed.• (3) 4 ½” x WOF strips. Sew the strips together end to end with diagonal seams and cut (2) 4 ½” x 48 ½” strips.

From the Mushrooms - Cream (C), cut:• (1) 4 ½” x WOF strip. Sub-cut (4) 4 ½” squares and (2) 2 ½” squares.

From the Spots - Brown (D), cut:• (1) 2 ½” x WOF strip. Sub-cut (10) 2 ½” squares.

From the Small Flowers - Cream (E), cut:• (1) 4 ½” x WOF strip. Sub-cut (2) 4 ½” squares and (4) 2 ½” squares.

From the Square Patch - Blue (F), cut:• (1) 4 ½” x WOF strip. Sub-cut (2) 4 ½” squares.• (1) 2 ½” x WOF strip. Sub-cut (14) 2 ½” squares.

From the Square Patch - Brown (Q), cut:• (1) 4 ½” x WOF strip. Sub-cut (2) 4 ½” squares.

From the Bunny Toss - Blue (R), cut:• (1) 4 ½” x WOF strip. Sub-cut (2) 4 ½” squares.

From the Square Patch - Cream (Backing), cut:• (2) 56” x WOF strips for the backing. Sew the strips together and trim to make the 56” x 58” back.

Sewing Instructions1. Place (1) 2 ½” Fabric D square on the top left corner of (1) 4 ½” Fabric C square, right sides together (Fig. 1). Sew across the diagonal of the smaller square from the upper right corner to the lower left corner (Fig. 1). Flip open the triangle formed and press (Fig. 2). Trim away the excess fabric from behind the triangle ¼” away from the sewn seam.

2. Follow Figure 3 for the seam direction to add a 2 ½” Fabric D square to each of the remaining corners of the 4 ½” Fabric C square to make (1) Unit 1 square (Fig. 4).

3. Repeat Steps 1-2 to make a second Unit 1 square.

4. Repeat Steps 1-2 and use Figures 5-8 for fabric identification, location and seam direction to make (2) Unit 2 squares, (2) Unit 3 squares, (2) Unit 4 squares and (2) Unit 5 squares.

5. Sew (1) 2 ½” Fabric L square, (1) 2 ½” Fabric H square, (1) 2 ½” Fabric E square and (1) 2 ½” Fabric M square together as shown in Figure 9 to make (1) Unit 6 square. Repeat to make a second Unit 6 square.

6. Repeat Step 5 and use Figures 10-14 for fabric identification and location to make (2) Unit 7 strips, (2) Unit 8 squares, (2) Unit 9 strips, (2) Unit 10 squares and (2) Unit 11 squares.

Sew (1) Unit 1 square, (1) 4 ½” Fabric N square, (1) Unit 6 square, (1) 4 ½” Fabric P square, (1) Unit 2 square, (1) 4 ½” Fabric G square, (1) Unit 7 strip, (1) 4 ½” Fabric Q square, (1) Unit 8 square and (1) Unit 3 square together in that order to make (1) Block One strip (Fig. 15). Repeat to make a second Block One strip.

8. Sew (1) 4 ½” Fabric R, (1) Unit 4 square, (1) Unit 9 strip, (1) 4 ½” Fabric N square, (1) Unit 5 square, (1) 4 ½” Fabric G square, (1) Unit 10 square, (1) 4 ½” Fabric L square, (1) 4 ½” Fabric F square and (1) Unit 11 square together in that order to make (1) Block Two strip (Fig. 16). Repeat to make a second Block Two strip.

Quilt Top Assembly (Refer to the Quilt Layout while assembling.)9. Sew (1) Block One strip, (1) 8 ½” x 42 ½” Fabric A strip, (1) Block Two strip, (1) 8 ½” x 42 ½” Fabric A strip, (1) Block Two strip, (1) 8 ½” x 42 ½” Fabric A strip and (1) Block One strip together lengthwise and in that order to make the Center Block. Pay attention to the strip orientations.

10. Sew (1) 4 ½” x 42 ½” Fabric B strip to each side of the Center Block. Sew (1) 4 ½” x 48 ½” Fabric B strip to the top and to the bottom of the Center Block to make the quilt top.

11. Layer and quilt as desired.

12. Sew the (5) 2 ½” x WOF Fabric M strips together, end to end with 45-degree seams, to make the binding. Fold this long strip in half lengthwise with wrong sides together and press.

13. Bind as desired.
