About John Pierre and Living With Harmony John Pierre is a nutrition and fitness consultant who has devoted over 30 years to improving the lives of others through his expertise in plant-based nutrition, physical fitness, women’s empowerment, geriatrics, and compassionate living.
As a dedicated activist, John gives lectures across the nation in a va-riety of environments including schools, conferences and shelters to help improve the health and well-being of others. John also teaches fun and exhilarating boot camps and offers one-on-one personal training to people of all ages. Just a few of John’s clients include Maggie Q, Ellen DeGeneres, Emily Deschanel and Pamela Ander-son.
John was also just recently inducted into the North American Vegetar-ian Society (NAVS) Hall of Fame for his dedication to spreading the message of plant-based nutrition, peace and compassion to improve people’s lives, the treatment of animals and concerns facing our envi-ronment.
Overall, John is a compassionate, caring and generous individual who spends his days helping those in need in every way possible. Whether it is speaking at a conference, teaching a boot camp class or donating his time and money to an organization in need, John has devoted his life to making the world a better place with every opportunity he has. John’s latest effort to inspire and impact the lives of others is The Living with Harmony Sanctuary and Education Center.
Through John’s 501(c)(3), Living with Harmony, he plans to offer visitors, volunteers and supporters the opportunity to learn and heal through activities such as caring for animals, gardening, learning from speakers and eating plant-based meals. The Re-treat and Education Center will offer educational, motivational and enjoyable opportunities for people of all ages. Living With Harmony is a reflection of who John is and what he teaches his clients every day.

through his expertise in the areas of geriatrics,
nutrition, fitness, women’s empowerment, green living, and cognitive retainment and im-
provement. While sometimes referred to as a “ Trainer to the Stars” because he trains celebri-
ties, rock-stars, and Fortune 500 Executives, John has a wide range of clientele, including military
personnel, hard-core athletes, and many people with diverse backgrounds and fitness levels.
John’s unique ability to communicate valuable information in an easy-to-understand manner has
made him a popular and sought-after speaker at numerous vegetarian, animal rights, fitness, and
health-promoting conferences around the world. Presenting consecutively at Pennsylvania’s Vege-
tarian Summerfest for the past 21 years, John Pierre was recently inducted into the North American
Vegetarian Society’s prestigious Vegetarian Hall of Fame. A partial list of John’s speaking venues

As a pioneer in the area of geriatrics, John Pierre was one of the first to create classes on fall pre-
vention, and help establish the link between diet and balance abilities. His recent and highly-
anticipated published endeavor The Pillars of Health was chosen by Dr. Barnard, President of the
Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine, as a favorite reading choice.
Along with John’s extensive volunteer commitment to numerous nonprofit organizations, he has de-
voted countless hours to presenting health-promoting and personal-safety oriented information to the
Girl Scouts of America, elementary after-school programs, high-schools, and other higher-level
learning institutions and universities.
John’s volunteer work also includes coordinating the collection and distribution of clothing and food
to women’s shelters, volunteering in animal-shelters, and teaching comprehensive women’s safety
and empowerment seminars and bootcamps. He has also lectured at orphanages, teen-runaway
centers, and learning institutions with the goal of spreading
the message about plant-based nutrition, peace, and a com-
passionate lifestyle; which contributes to increased levels of
health for people, animals, and the environment.
