Room Rates Option 1 is an open block: Guest can call in anytime using a code we provide and they can expect 15% off the best

available rate when they book. This way they can book any room they want and there is no financial obligation to

you. Please note: this option does not guarantee any rooms for your group. It is on a first come first serve basis

and rates tend to go up as availability goes down.

Option 2 is a closed block: The hotel requires a deposit in order to block off a specified # of rooms and will hold

you financially responsible for any unsold rooms. (This is what’s called the attrition rate.) The benefit of this type

of block is that we can guaranteed your rooms and your rate up until 30 days prior to the event (Or until your

block fills up). If you have guest coming from all over the world and think you will need 20-60 rooms (During your

entire stay) this would be the recommended option.

FAQ’s Q: Can I come and see the venue?

A: We would love to give you a tour of our beautiful venue. Please make an appointment with our Sales Team so

we can set aside the proper amount of time to answer all your questions.

Q: When can I get married?

A: Any time of year January to December. The summer and winter are equally beautiful here in the Canadian

Rockies and each month has its own special charm! We do have open availability from June 29-September 2 for

Mount Kidd Ballroom, Rockies and Wildflower. All other spaces are available to book inside of 6 months to your wedding date.

Q: Can we extend last call?

A: Music must be turned off at the stated time; however, Woody’s is open until 2am.

Q: Can we check in earlier than 4pm?

A: Check in times cannot be guaranteed before 4pm. We strongly recommend that you and your wedding party

be checked into the hotel the day before the wedding. We can certainly store luggage and items for those guests who are checking in the day of the wedding if your ceremony falls before 4pm.

Q: I have elderly people in my wedding, can they drive out to the viewpoints?

A: Unfortunately there are no motorized vehicles allowed out near the viewpoints. The hotel can assist with

wheelchairs however.

Q: What if it rains and I have an outdoor ceremony booked?

A: We will provide you with a backup space in a different room than your reception room for $350 for 3 hour

duration. We cannot guarantee which room your back up space will be in until 2 weeks prior to the wedding,

unless you wish to book the ceremony in the same room as your reception. In that case, the cost is $500 and we require 3 hours between ceremony and reception in which to reconfigure the room.

Q: Where can I have my rehearsal?

A: We can guarantee that you will have a space to rehearse in. We will let you know 7 days prior to your wedding

what room your rehearsal will take place in. Should you wish to guarantee a certain space, we can take a booking

30 days prior to the day and a rental fee will apply.

Q: Where can we have the rehearsal dinner?

A: There are several options for your rehearsal dinner.

-You could make a reservation in one of our lovely restaurants - your venue coordinator will assist you with the

reservation. You may order a la carte if less than 12 guests are attending. Twelve or more guests in attendance

require one of our set menus.

-You can rent a function space and have a plated or buffet dinner. If you are hosting your reception with us and

20 or more people are in attendance at the rehearsal dinner we will waive the function room rental fee.

-Woody’s Upper can be rented privately and is a great option if no minors are in attendance. Food and Beverage

minimum of $3500.00 will apply.

-One of our lovely Hospitality Suites can be rented. Outside food and beverage is allowed as it is your personal guest room. They are also a great option for breakfasts and gift openings the next morning.

Q: Can we have a food tasting? What is the cost?

A: Yes, please work with your Wedding Planner to schedule a food tasting. Due to the high volume of occupancy

during Christmas or other Holidays we do not offer wedding tastings during these times. Wedding tastings are

complimentary for 2 people, if they have chosen and confirmed a plated meal. Additional guests may join in the

tasting and will be charged a minimum of $30 per person. They are available on Saturdays at either 2 or 3pm.

Q: Can I bring my own alcohol?

A: You may bring your own wine at a corkage fee of $35 per 750ml bottle. Homemade wine is not permitted. If

there is something special you are looking for that is not available on our menu please let your Wedding Planner know so that we can attempt to source it out for you.

Q: Will the food prices change between now and my wedding?

A: They may. We guarantee pricing once you have signed a Banquet Event Order and committed to a food choice.

Q: How does the bar work?

A: We have many options for your bar. We can do a subsidized bar, drink tickets, a host bar by consumption, or a

cash bar. We will provide you with a bartender, however if bar sales are less than $200 there is an $18/ hour charge for a minimum of three hours for the bartender.

Q: Will my guests be on the same floor / close together?

A: This may not be possible. We have three different buildings, each with different styles of guest room. As your

guests will be making their own reservations, if they book a suite that is only available in a certain building, we

cannot move them. We will try as much as possible, where guests have booked room types that are in the same

building, to keep people close together. The resort is large, but everything is walking distance and you won’t be too far apart!

Q: What options are there for a bridal suite?

A: For your wedding night, we will provide you with one night complimentary in an Executive Suite or Main Lodge

Loft Suite. If you wish to have a further upgrade, you will be responsible for upgrade charges on the night of your wedding and any pre and post nights.

Q: Great! I love the venue – how do I book?

A: Your Wedding Planner will provide you with a contract to hold the space and the room block. After you have been provided with the contract, you have 7 days to return the signed contract and your deposit.

Q: How much is the deposit?

Deposit #1: At Signing- the room rental fee will be due as a non-refundable deposit towards your wedding.

Deposit #1a: If you have chosen a closed block of rooms: The deposit is 25% of your contracted room block’s

revenue. For example, if we are holding 20 rooms in your block, at $249/night, the deposit would be $1,245.00.

(This amount will be applied to the master account-See Deposit # 4)

Deposit # 2: 50% of estimated Food and beverage (Based on $75 per guest +1 Drink/Hour if host bar)

Deposit #3: 25% of estimated Food and beverage (Based on $75 per guest +1 Drink/Hour if host bar)
