STAY
You will be staying at The Daintree Eco Lodge & Spa, located in the middle of the Daintree Rainforest and adjacent to the majestic Daintree River. Relax in one of the ‘Bayans’, a private tree house and experience near total seclusion amongst the rainforest. A micro screen balcony offers stunning, immersive view of therainforest, creek or waterlily lagoon.
SNORKELERS
Marvel at colourful coral gardens, giant clams, sea turtles and an abundance of diverse marine life. Swim up close to the coral reefs and the abundance of marine life or stay dry on the glass bottom boat while viewing the spectacular fish, corals and whatever other beautiful sights Mother Nature has in store for you. You may also be lucky enough to come close and personal with the seasonal migrating Dwarf Minke Whales.

Take an Aboriginal Guided Walk and Art Class to experience a unique interaction with the Kuku Yalanji’s cultural harmony with nature.
DINE
Dine at the Julaymba Restaurant & Bar set in a rainforest and lagoon setting. The menu draws inspiration from the tropical surrounds showcasing the finest contemporary Australian cuisine prepared from fresh, local ingredients.
THE GROUNDS
Within the property grounds, discover a quiet nook for curling up with a good book, whether in a garden, in swinging chairs by the waterlily lagoon or on the sundeck by the pool, or perhaps head of the beaten track for wildlife spotting, indigenous interpretation and adventure on the waterfall path.
SNORKELING IN GREAT BARRIER REEF
Relax on board your private charter, the Lagoon 620 Aquarius 62ft catamaran which will take you to the outer edge of the World Heritage listed Great Barrier Reef, 2 hours north east of Port Douglas to Tongue Reef, mooring at 1st Sister (29) and Brazilian (30) (see map). You are able to enjoy the rare privilege to snorkel in the reefs freely and access remote and pristine reef sites where larger vessels can’t go or choose to just enjoy the tranquillity of sailing.
WHAT TO BRING
Bathing suit, towel, hat, sunglass, sunscreen, insect repellant and camera. Snorkeling equipment, Lycra suits, flotation devices, prescription masks are provided.

Arrive into Cairns Airport. Transfer to The Daintree Eco Lodge (90 minutes).
Arrive at the Lodge & check into your private Bayan. Relax in your Bayan orenjoy a relaxed walk around the grounds to the Waterfall.
Transfer to Daintree Forest River Cruise.4:15 PM
Arrive back at the Lodge. 6:30 PM
Dinner at Julaymba Restaurant. 7:30 PM
Early morning rise for a quick breakfast at the Julaymba Restaurant.

Transfer to Port Douglas Reef Marina (50mins).
Board the luxurious Lagoon 620 Aquarius to the pristine waters of the outer reef. Arrive at Tongue Reef at 10:50am to experience an indulgent day snorkelling with marine life, explore the coral bommies, view the reef through bottom glass coral boat or just enjoy the tranquillity of sailing. It’s the whale season so keep an eye out for Minke and Humpback whales especially when you pass the Low Isles and enter the shipping channel. Enjoy Morning Tea, Lunch and Afternoon Tea on board.
4:00 PM Dock at Marina. Transfer to the lodge.
5:00 PM Relax in your Bayan or murakama (get together) in the bar for some pre-dinner drinks.
7:30 PM Dinner at Julaymba Restaurant.

Daintree climate is tropical all year. September is a cooler and drier month with reduced humidity and maximum temperature averaging 26 degrees.
CLIMATE
The mood of the tropics lends itself to casual attire. Loose, light clothing and suitable footwear is the perfect attire for daytime resort wear. Smart casual attire is suitable for evenings in Julaymba Restaurant.
