Wolf Talk
As the Waterloo Wolves 2009-2010 season has come to end, I personally and behalf of the Waterloo Wolves Organization, would like to
thank everyone who helped make this season a great and memorable one.
I would like to start off by thanking the operating committee and parents for their hard work throughout the year with all the events the
Waterloo Wolves held, such as Wolfamania and sponsorship night . Also, a big thank you to the volunteers who were at the games week
to week helping with chuck-a-puck, 50/50 draw and the 55+ club. Parents and volunteers, your tremendous help shows the passion you
have for community involvement and the game.
Thank you to Bob Lekun and the coaching staff for the long hours of
practice and dedication you gave to the players. Kim Rennie, thank you for
the maintenance of the boys hockey equipment and skates. You have done
so much for the boys and not enough recognition has been given to you
for all you have done. Thank you Kim.
To our generous sponsors, thank you for your continuous support. It is
because of your donation, the Waterloo Wolves were able to go to
Kelowna, British Columbia and participate in the Kelowna International
Midget Hockey Tournament. Your support provided the members of the
Midget AAA Waterloo Wolves, the opportunity to take their game to new
levels. Their personal growth as a result of our program is evident in the
manner in which they conducted themselves outside of hockey. They have
learned what is required to be respected and successful.
Last but not least, a big thank you to all the boys on the team. Thank you for all your hard work and effort
throughout the whole season. The Wolves were this year‟s Ottawa Senators‟ Midget AAA Showcase Cham-
pions, Kitchener Blueline Tournament‟s Midget AAA Champions and Waterloo Gold Puck Tournament‟s
Midget AAA Silver Medalists. The Wolves demonstrated what it means to be on a team and the passion
they have for the game of hockey.
Wolves, I am very proud of your hockey achievements this season. For all of you this is a stepping stone in
your hockey careers and I wish you nothing but the best in your future endeavours. For those who will be
coming back next season, I promise you another exciting season. Remember boys, once a wolf, always a
wolf!
Again, thank you to all of you for your help and support on this great 2009-2010 Waterloo Wolves Season.
Your friend in hockey,
Willy Huber Jr.

Top Tournament Results in 2009-2010
The new Waterloo Wolves‟ website (http://waterloowolvesaaa.wordpress.com/) was launched on
August 1, 2009. Since the launch, it has become a well visited resource in the world of Midget AAA
hockey.
To date, over 51,200 visits have been recorded on the site.
The most popular pages were schedule, tournament, team, coaching staff and individual player
pages.
The Wolves are lucky to have many dedicated, enthusiastic sponsors. Without there support, there
would be no Waterloo Wolves Midget AAA Team. It is therefore excellent news to find that the
sponsor pages, general and for each level of sponsorship, garnered attention on the site.
Another popular page is the newsletter. 2009-2010 was the first year for “Wolf Talk”. Hard copies
of the newsletter are available at home games, while electronic versions are distributed to sponsors,
alumni, fans and many others. To join the emailing list for “Wolf Talk”, simply contact Diana Villa-
