PRICESThis price list supersedes all previous offerings. Prices are subject to change without notice. Invoices will reflect prices at the time of shipment.
TAXESPrices do not include any federal, state or local taxes or other governmental charges. Any taxes or governmental charges, which CONRADER VALVES may be required to pay or collect, will be invoiced to the purchaser.
TERMS OF PAYMENTTerms shall be net 30 days, including shipments of partial orders. A 1¼% per month service charge will be added to the invoice amount on all past due accounts.
FREIGHTAll shipments are F.O.B. Erie, PA unless otherwise stated. Delivery of material to a common carrier shall be considered to be delivery to purchaser. CLAIMS FOR LOSS OF OR DAMAGE TO MATERIAL IN TRANSIT SHALL BE FILED BY THE PURCHASER DIRECTLY WITH THE CARRIER.
DELIVERIESAll scheduled shipments are determined by the best judgment of Conrader Valves Schedules will be adhered towith the best efforts of Conrader Valves, but are not guaranteed. Conrader Valves will not be responsible fordelays in delivery or failure to deliver due to causes beyond its control, including without limitations, acts of God, acts of purchaser, fire, flood, accidents, riots, strikes, transportation delays, labor or material shortages or anyother causes beyond its control.
RETURNSNo material is to be returned without our written permission. A minimum inspection and handling charge of 20%, plus freight both ways will be assessed on approved returned goods. Obsolete material and material made onspecial orders is not returnable.
CANCELLATIONOrders for special merchandise, modifications of regular merchandise or abnormal quantities of regular merchandise are not subject to cancellation or change in specifications without our written consent and upon terms that will indemnify Conrader Valves against consequential loss.
MINIMUM CHARGEORDERS FOR VALVES AND FITTINGS TOTALING LESS THEN $30.00 NET WILL BE BILLED AT A MINIMUM CHARGE OF $30.00.

WARRANTYAll products are guaranteed for one year from date of shipment against manufacturing defects in material and workmanship, provided that in each case the product is properly installed and is used in the service for which the seller recommends. Material claimed to be defective which is returned to our factory within one year after prior written approval by Conrader Valves, transportation prepaid, will be repaired or replaced at the discretion of Conrader Valves, provided that after inspection the product is found to be defective. THIS WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND IS IN LIEU OF ANY OTHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THOSE OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
Conrader ASME Coded, National Board Certified Valves protect equipment from over pressurization. Care must be taken to correctly size each valve to meet the operating conditions of the system on which it is to be installed. Major considerations are compressor capacity, operating pressure, temperature, tank design, environmental conditions and potential hazards. When the compressor reaches unload pressure, the check valve closes, preventing the backflow of air from the receiver into the discharge line. Conrader offers in-tank check valves, in-line check valves, and bronze globe check valves. Conrader in-tank check valves screw directly into the receiver and are attached to the compressor’s discharge line at their inlet. Various sizes and configurations are available. Conrader in-line check valves screw directly into the discharge line and have the same size inlet as they do outlet. Conrader cast bronze check valves are similar to in-line check valves but offer higher flow capabilities. Various sizes and configurations are available.

Conrader throttle controls are designed to control the engine speed of gasoline and diesel engine driven compressors. The throttle control keeps the engine at the operational speed until it receives a pressure signal, it then throttles down the engine until the pressure signal is released. Throttle controls must be used in conjunction with a pilot valve which controls the pressure signal (see Pilot Valve description). Throttle controls are provided in two styles, airline and cable. Airline throttle controls are mounted directly on the engine and an airline is run from the pilot to the throttlecontrol. Cable throttle controls are mounted directly to the pilot and a solid cable runs from the throttle control to the throttle arm on the engine.

Conrader’s B-Series piloted unloader valves are designed for constant speed applications where there are no intake unloaders. A discharge unloader is incorporated into an unloader pilot valve body to have one valve to sense system pressure and vent air to atmosphere. At load pressure, the pilot valve closes the discharge unloader and the compressor returns to normal operation. A separate check valve is required from which a line must be run to the discharge inlet. Conrader offers piloted unloader valves with flow of 20 and 60 CFM and can be configured to incorporate a hand unloader for manual unloading and dual control for applications requiring alternation between start/stop and constant speed operation.

Conrader’s RC series of unloader pilot valves are designed to actuate another device using a pneumatic (air) signal. Unloader pilot valves always work in conjunction with another device. Examples include actuating a throttle control to slow down and speed up an engine, opening and closing a discharge valve to vent air to atmosphere, or operating the intake unloaders in the compressor’s head. Unloader pilot valves operate within a set pressure range. The max setting is the unload pressure and the minimum setting is the load pressure. During unload, the pilot valve will actuate and open another device while at the load pressure the pilot valve closes and returns the compressor to normal operation.

PILOTED DISCHARGE CHECK VALVESConrader piloted discharge check valves combine a pilot valve, a discharge valve, and a check valve into one system used to run an air compressor at a constant speed. They are used on both gas engine and electric motor compressors. Conrader’s NS series flows22 CFM, N Series 30 CFM, and NL series 60 CFM. For high volume OEM applications, Conrader’s NR series provides an economical solution flowing 9-12 CFM. All combination valves are available with a plain stem, a hand unloader, or dual control. Plain stems are typically used on electric compressors. Hand unloaders offer the option of manually unloading compressors and are often found on gas engine drive compressors. Dual control offers the option of switching between constant speed and start/stop operation for electric compressors. Various sizes and configurations are available. Conrader’s NTI series are modified piloted discharge check valves for tire inflator compressor applications. Conrader’s tire inflator valves include the same elements as the N- Series but allow the compressor to run entirely unloaded when not inflating tires. In turn, this allows the compressor to run 30-40% cooler which is accomplished by a constant bleed orifice (NTI-O) or via a solenoid valve (NTI-S).

Conrader D-series discharge valves are designed for constant speed applications where intake unloaders are not present. Discharge valves are normally closed which require a pilot device to send a signal to open the valve at the set unload pressure and to close the valve at the pilot device’s set load pressure to return the compressor to normal speed.

BLOWDOWN VALVESBlowdown Valves are normally a closed valve that require a pressure signal to open and are commonly used inRotary Screw Compressor applications.
