SEMESTER/ACADEMIC YEAR Students taking a long General English course can change to a
different course during their stay. For example students may wish to take an examination course before they leave or to join the Business
Apprentice programme.
Long term programmes for non-EEA students allow you to achieve fluency for future work and study through a long period of immersion in the English language. Students can apply for permission to stay in Ireland for 8 months and work casually for up to 20 or 40 hours per week depending on the time of the year.
