RAIL INFRASTRUCTURE LIVERIES
Both 4819 and 4827 found themselves homes in rail infrastructure work. Dutring this new life, 4827 has been repainted in
to all four liveries shown below, while 4819 has received only the orange and aqua liveries on the top row.
Today they both wear the orange.

Werris Creek 48s were unique, in that many of them
carried magpies painted on the cab side, a symbol of
the local football club that was founded in 1912.
While the exact dates these were painted on have
been hard to find, a lot of looking over photos, and
peoples records, has indicated that they first ap-
peared in 1978.
How long they lasted is not yet known, however
4851 s=ll carried hers in September 1987, while 4867
was noted with them in April 1988.
The following list shows those 48 class we have
iden=fied the magpie to have appeared on, as well as
the years noted.
