DATES
We propose October, with arrival on the evening of the second Sunday of the month (10 October 2015). On that day, the well-known regatta “Barcolana’, the largest in the Mediterranean area with respect to the number of participants (more than 1500 sailing boats each year), takes place. The Colleagues interest can arrive before to enjoy the event, while the hotel prices become cheaper already on the Sunday evening, when the regatta participants and the touristic public leave Trieste. Venice can be reached from Trieste in about 2 hours by train and the participants can consider spending in Venice either the week-end before or after the Conference.
