5 Wierd Ways to Find Inspiration for Your Writing
From DIY Writingdanasitar.com
The myth of Writer's Block.Do you know how much there is to write about in the world?
Sometimes we lack motivation or divine inspiration.
But let’s admit writers:
We don’t ever, really, lack
material.
If you find yourself in need of a topic and without a clue,
here are a few out-of-the-ordinary things you can try
to kickstart your next blog post, magazine article, or book
1/ Do something bizarre for a year just to write about it.
Trying something new for
the purpose of writing
about it gives the
experience a special
purpose and gives you an
interesting perspective.
2/ Ask a strangerstranger if you can write their story.
→ at a dinner party
→ In line at a cafe
→ in the grocery store
→ in the ladies' room
→ on the bus
Look for stories everywhere
3/ Re-read your favorite booksfrom childhood
Getting to the root of
what moves you as an
artist can be a great
jump-start to creativity.
4/ Re type- your favorite novel.
Running through the motions of
crafting your favorite novel
allows you to savor the fantasy
of being in the creator’s shoes.
5/ Work in customer service.
You can glean valuable
insight into human
characteristics from
your customers.
Learn to love them!
All the best in your writing journey!
