CONSERVATIVE FINANCIAL SOLUTIONS IS PROUD
TO INVITE YOU AND YOUR GUEST(S) TO ATTEND
OUR CLIENT EDUCATION FORUM
One of the principle goals at CFS is to achieve the desired
rate of return, while having as little risk as possible. This
has been part of our vision from day one. Even though,
the vision hasn’t changed, the way we work to achieve this
desired rate of return is forever evolving
due to different financial climates.
In this newsletter we have dedicated
a section to Global Financial Private
Capital (GFPC). GFPC has developed
a strategic plan resulting in a clear
vision for staying ahead of future
financial curves. In developing this vision, it is even more
important to make sure that we are aligned with the most
experienced in the industry —not only to ensure stability—
but to continue to grow to the next level. GFPC’s plan
includes strengthening their management team, making
additions to their Board of Directors, and continuing to
have talented Money Managers, Chris Bertelsen and Mike
Sorrentino on their team. This has taken place, and many of
our clients received a letter about this addition in late July.

fiduciary ruling that was signed into law this May by
President Obama. This ruling focuses primarily on advisors
and their fiduciary responsibility. This fiduciary standard
requires that a financial advisor act solely in the client’s
best interest when offering personalized financial advice.
Rest assured, at CFS we have always worked as fiduciaries,
and will continue to put our clients’ interest first. This rule
isn’t a change for us at CFS. However, there are other
sections of this rule in which it is hard to predict all of the
regulatory changes that will stem from it. I will continue
to work closely with GFPC, our Investment Advisors, in
upholding the highest standards for CFS and our clients.
In conclusion, as we are living through one of the most
interesting financial climates, we will continue to keep
you informed. With the election for the President of
the United States, you can be sure that we will see yet
another financial climate shift. I cannot stress enough
the importance of diversification, staying with the plan
and not bringing emotions into investment decisions. As
Mike Sorrentino, Chief Strategist at GFPC stated, “Keep in
mind that any market reaction to the winner in November,
whether good or bad, will be short lived because emotions
don’t fuel economies.“ Until next issue, we will continue to
keep you up to date with weekly emails.

CFS would like to thank all of our Client Families who
joined us at our 7th Annual Client Appreciation Event
at Stricker’s Grove! Smiles and giggles were everywhere
as over 1,200 individuals came out to the action-packed
Stricker’s Grove Amusement Park. This annual event is
the Ford family way of giving back to the community
while thanking clients and helping them to create lasting
memories with their children and grandchildren.
Again this year, CFS partnered with Christ’s Loving Hands,
a local charity which partners with churches, businesses,
and community agencies to make a difference in the
Harrison community. CFS Clients and their families were
asked to consider those in need by filling Roger’s truck
with non-perishable food and supplies and/or purchasing
tickets to win a prize basket for this worthy organization.
This year, local business partners including Harrison Tax
Advisors, Darren R. Bowman, CPA, Circling Hills, Market
Street Grille, The Coffee Peddler, Abra Auto Body & Glass,
and Kreimer’s Bier Haus also contributed to the baskets.
In total, 2 truckloads of nonperishable items were delivered
to Christ’s Loving Hands and a check for $4,200, bringing
the grand total over the past few years to over $12,000 and
8 truckloads.
The Ford family truly enjoyed sponsoring this event which
highlights their deep appreciation for their community and
cherished clients. They hope everyone had a remarkable
evening with their families.

Cincinnati Reds GameOn Friday, July 22nd, a great evening was had by all who attended the CFS Client
Referral Event at the Great American Ballpark! It was a fun time cheering on the
Cincinnati Reds from our suite on the 3rd baseline. This event is Roger and the CFS
team’s way of saying “thanks” to those who shared the value of our business with
others who became a qualified client of CFS. It was a great time being together on
such a beautiful night at the ballpark!
We invite you to join us next summer at the ballpark! Invitations are mailed to those
who share the value of CFS to an individual who becomes a qualified client from May
2016 - April 2017.
In July, Sue
