Pupils who arrive at school between 7:00 am and 8:20 am go to morning day care because their parents work.

Pupils play in the playground between 8:20

am and 8:30am. At 8:30am the school bell rings and we line up by

year to go into class. Then we tell the teacher if

we eat at the canteen..

We work in class between 8.30am and 11.30am. We mainly learn maths and French.

A bell rings when playtimes are beginning and ending . Playtimes are schulded between 10h10 and 10h25 am and 15h15 and 15h30 pm. All the pupils go out together. We play with pupils of the same age. Sometimes they have something to eat (a cake or fruit).

On the playground there are 2 covered areas, a climbing wall, a small garden a tabletennis table, a former street with its pavements, zebracrossing and manholes cross the playground.

At 11.30 am, it’s the end of morning class. Some pupils go back home, some pupils eat at the school canteen and some pupils stay at the morning day care to wait for their parents before going back home to eat.

The canteen is situated face to our school .It‘s also a village-hall. We begin our meal at 11.45 am. It takes half a hour. At the end of the meal, we clean up the tables. Each meal is made up a first course, a second course and piece of cheese or a yogurt and a dessert. We have to taste before saying “I don’t like it”.

SportWe make sport in the gymnasium next to the school.We make ball, fight or athletics games.

Art and poetryWe sing, we make paints.We write poetic texts, we learn poetry at home and we recite in class.

Geography, history, scienceIn geography, we learn things about the Earth.In history, we learn how lived people in the past.In sciences, we make experiences, we plant seeds…

Reading and mathematics workshopsWe go to another room next to the class to play games of reading and mathematics. We are not with our teacher but with Claire and Catherine in small groups from 4 to 8 pupils.

EnglishTo learn to speak english, we make games like the 7 families game. We talk about Comenius project, and learn about United Kingdom.

Additional workshopsIn the evening after the class, we make workshops in small group with our teacher. Sometimes, he helps the children in trouble. Sometimes we use computers and sometimes we work on Comenius.

After schoolSome pupils stay at the

after day care in the playground to wait for their parents

Some pupils go back home.

Some pupils do an activity organized by the City hall (but it’s the next presentation)
