Our garments production includes: men jackets, women jackets, men pants, women pants, skirts, men suits, women suits, blouses, dresses, coats and great coats, slip covers IKEA, regimentals, collections etc .
Our clients are from European Union : United Kingdom, Sweden, Germany, Spain, Italy etc.
While at the beginning our company produced mostly large quantities of products having a low degree of complexity (skirts, pants), currently our company produces small lots of products having a high degree of complexity (including manually sewn products), for international customers such as : Hennes & Mauritz Sweden, Dewhirst Group from England (Marks&Spencer), Benetton, Valentino Italy, Inditex Group from Spain (Zara, Trisko).
ORIENTATION TOWARDS YOUNG WORKERS FORMING
Providing scholarships for the young employees giving them a chance to developed their abilities and work discipline Giving the possibility for the young peoples to benefit of practice stages in our company and, at the end of these stages, offering them the possibility to remain in our company;
Free transportation at and from the place of employment;
Support in obtaining bank credits for buying houses or for other personal necessities, through a contract between bank and our company, contract witch gives to our employees the possibility to benefit of preferential interests.
Sorste obtained the authorization for professional forming of the peoples as recognition of our company’s quality level in accordance with the norm of safety work and health. In 2005, The Romanian Minister of Work, Social Solidarity and Family authorized the company SORSTE to organize qualification programs as "garment worker "
REGARDING POLICY OF ENVIRONMENT - HEALTH AND SAFETY WORK
Sorste has a quality management system certified by the standard ISO 9001 : 2000, implemented for answering to our customer’s requirements.
We know that it is possible for us to make some mistakes in developing our activity. What we intend is to limit the effects of all the mistakes witch might appear and to learn from all the experiences, good or less good for being able to respect our commitments we adopt in the policy of our company, relative to environment, health and safety of the labor.
To provide all the employees with a healthy and safe work environment To prevent any industrial accidents and health problems of the employees as well To meet all requirements of the clients To improve company’s performance related to power consumption and wastes To improve continuously environment, health and work safety issues of our activity To meet all the legal requirements related to environment – health and work safety applicable to our activity To ensure security of SORSTE SA employees and subcontractors developing their activity at our headquarters during their activity, so as to prevent any environmental pollution and accidents.
In our opinion, all the accidents may be prevented and incidents reduced where both employees and subcontractors comply with the principles of this POLICY.

2. In our company was founded a security and health committee, who’s attributions are connected with implementing the management of health and security for the work force, based on OHSAS18001/1999 standard, with the following attributions:
-participate at the identification and evaluation of the health and security risks, for all the work places;-realizes the interface between the company management and the employees, regarding the management system
for work security and health.
3. Making periodical check-ups to see the physical and psychical condition of the employees, through and international medical facility (Medicover Rombel – the clinic having Swedish shareholding).
4. The delegation of the work tasks, keeping in mind abilities of the employees, as well as their weak points (lack of experience in that area, the fear of failure etc.) and their strong points (the will to affirm, the will to be promoted within the company, the will to have the security of the job etc.).
5. The employees are sustained in developing their own potential and in using it to be promoted within the organization (professional training courses, teambuilding, training to all hierarchic levels)
6. Sorste has contribute in creating a network and facilitating the information exchange between the interested parties: the employee and its family on one side and on the other side the company, the authorities specialized in the health domain and the one of the social protection and even banks through : subscriptions to Medicover health clinic, facilities in the relation employee – bank, as a consequence of being our employee, donations, sponsorships etc.
7. The activity of our group of company extended, for completing the area of services offered to our customers. We have now a first class hotel and a restaurant, offering also other services such as events organization etc
