The lobby is full of light and visitors are welcomed at the caffe - the design of which is reminiscent of La Scuola’s reception - minus the coffee and treats.

I do not have images because upon entering the room, I was peppered with questions about languages, geography, what our kids study and how and where the Yukon river is.
We then delved into why I was there, we together named the 16 nationalities of La Scuola, we showed off our language skills- with kids sharing phrases in Farsi, Arabic, Italian, Spanish and Deutsche.
I SO enjoyed this exchange– and it proves that our IB school needs to facilitate exchange trips for our kids to other schools – if I, one boring grown up, can so captivate their interest, imagine what kids their age over several days can do.
