We collected the SST observations in Yellow Sea during the period of from Jan 2005 to Sep 2006.
These SST observations are qality controlled by some measures as follows:
• Eliminate the redundant SST reports according to time, location, SST, air temperature and wind;
• SST reports without a call sign, or with a generic call sign just like “SHIP”, are excluded;
• Check the ship positions for consistency at the method of ship tracking (ref. Kent and Challenor,
2006).
GHRSST L4 products
• Data source: GHRSST-PP, which includes five Datasets:
MGDSST (JMA), MWOISST (RSS), NGSST (UT), OSTIA (NCOF), and FSTIA (FNMOC).
