Post Modern ERP Challenge
As-IsWhile the Army has gained efficiency within domains from our ERPs, they continue to face challenges
• Stovepipes• Expensive to run• Not well integrated
To-BePEO EIS and Industry Partners unified
• Leverage innovation• What can industry provide that is new,
innovative and efficient?
• Improve cost savings efficiencies• Looking at new ways to do this same work• Ensure auditable systems
• Integrating our ERPs• No one product meets the Army needs by
itself – How does the Army acquire the best of breed? What is the right mix of capabilities for an integrated ERP approach?

ERP Sustainment Way Forward
Future State:• Army Shared Service Center
• Implemented for LMP• Evaluating for other ERPs
• PEO Mandating ERP Integration where possible• Mandates for Success
• Single overarching System Integrator (LSI) across each baseline
• Breadth and depth of skilled personnel • Standardized processes, tools, configuration

ERPs Never Reach Full Sustainment
