Generation Introduction

This is Marc, current LCP from AIESEC SYSU.
2014 is the very specially year for me, or maybe one of the most in my life.Got elected as the leader of AIESEC SYSU. Formed a 9-people team to create our blueprint of this entity in the coming year. Fight hard and suffered. Hopeless and ambitious. Failed and achieved…
Experience. That’s the theme of our journey.Experience and create. That’s the key of the journey.Experience, create and enjoy. That’s everything.
1. International Exposure

And APLS is just the place to interact, to innovate. At the same time, involved in an AIESEC international environment can always pushes us to reflect ourselves. And for me, the reflection is really important.

While in the coming term establish 2 CSR sales team to further cooperate with iGCDP to explore CSR market.
Already Target 2 big companies: 中海地产+ITSC
Generate resources for 7 projects.

LC Initiatives - Impact Projects
AIESEC is also a very unique platform about creating her own influence, delivering her positive impact to our living society. Co-create a better environment with all the youth talent, all the other organization with shared vision and values.
Thus, this year, we will initiate or co-deliver with MC, for 2 main projects to better deliver what believe this platform should do, what we believe our generation should react to our society.
1. Cross-Strait Youth Forum – Taiwan2. Business School – Unilever
While Cross-Strait Youth Forum is now delivering but the other one are still on the process.
LC Initiatives - Impact Projects
We will build the platform for youth from Mainland and Taiwan to sit together, talk together. We are not here to focus on any political problems, but just to know more, or we should say, start to know each other. About education, about commonweal, about youth development etc.
The first Cross-Strait Youth Forum, CSYF in short, will be held in Guangzhou, in September. At the same time, we will start iGCDP project at August, involving Taiwan EPs to explore local culture in Guangdong.
An OCT of 13 people is formed, and half of them is now in Taiwan establishing partnership with MC/LCs and other organizations there.

“Challenges are what we came for.”
Indeed, we’ve spent years after years to chase, to pursue what we believe: A platform for people development, for world peace. We failed and we achieved, from time to time.
And at the same time, to develop ourselves at much as possible, as fast as possible. It hurts, but it deserves.
To become globally competitive for me is not only about growing myself with wider views and open mindset, but also obtain the ability to help develop others. Because I always believe that, becoming a good leader, is about becoming a good supporter.
And, fortunately, as the president of AIESEC SYSU, I must say I feel lucky and grateful. Can’t express more about my love to this place.
The journey ahead is very challenging without doubt. However, I’m not alone, and we are never alone.
Thanks again for your patience to finish this very long application. =)
The End
