AGENDA I.MEET & GREET ICE BREAKER II.EPE TIG SURVEY RESULTS III.ELECTIONS Environmental Program Evaluation TIG Survey Purpose: To inform the development of a TIG strategic plan that provides the TIG guidance for the coming years by showing: Most and least valuable activities Member willingness to participate in activities Goals for TIG Potential TIG Activities Contribute to development of AEA conference theme Contribute annually to AEA365 blog for Earth week Foster year-round connections among EPE TIG members Network with environmental evaluation groups outside of AEA Host conference calls for members to present their work Facilitate mentoring of new evaluators in the environmental field Develop TIG newsletter Maintain TIG website Network with other TIGs Organize field trip during conference Organize business meeting Top 3 Most Valuable TIG Activities Level of involvement for potential TIG activities Top 3 Most Valuable TIG Activities & Level of Regular Participation Top 3 Most Valuable TIG Activities & Contribute at Least Occasionally Agreement with Potential TIG Goals for Coming Year Years of Experience Development of TIG Strategic Plan 1. EPE TIG ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES TWO YEAR COMMITMENT PARTICIPATE AS PART OF LEADERSHIP TEAM TIME COMMITMENT RANGES FROM 2 HOURS A MONTH CHAIR/CO-CHAIR Primary point of contact/liaison representing the TIG. Communicates and liaisons/collaborates with the AEA office and TIG members. Drafts and communiques for distribution. Convenes the Leadership Team to conduct TIG business Draft meeting agendas Responds to requests by the AEA office, other TIGs and professional organizations as appropriate and necessary. Liaisons with other TIGs and professional organizations as needed. Time Commitment: 2 hours a month, ranges from 1 hour in the slowest months to 8 in the busiest time (pre-Conference) PROGRAM CO-CHAIR Coordinates the TIGs conference program for AEA including: Solicits reviewers for proposals submitted to the TIG and organizes the review process. Takes the lead in making the final determination on which proposals are accepted based upon reviewer feedback. Communicates EPE TIG program to the AEA office. Time Commitment: 2 hours a month, and ranges from 0 in the slowest months to 8 in the busiest time. WEBMASTER Manages the TIGs webpage including: Takes part in AEA provided website development and maintenance training. Collaborates with other TIG leaders to determine website content. Liaisons with other TIGs and professional organizations to cross post information relevant to the interests of the TIG. Develops, maintains and updates TIG website with new web content as agreed upon by TIG leadership. Time Commitment: 1 hour a month, and ranges from 0 in the slowest months to 3 in the busiest time. COMMUNICATIONS Leads the TIGs communication efforts including: Designs newsletter and communication plan to relay important news of interest to EPE TIG members. Collaborates with TIG leaders to determine newsletter content. Drafts Newsletter content as needed. Coordinates submissions of AEA365 Blog during Earth Week on behalf of the EPE TIG. Liaisons with other TIGs and professional organizations to cross-post information relevant to the interests of the TIG as needed. Maintains creative ways to communicate with and engage TIG members throughout the year. Time Commitment: 2 hours a month, and ranges from 4 in the slowest months to 10 in the busiest time.
