• 1/ Do you think Ms. Browne Sanders had the basis for a sexual harassment suit? Why or why not?
• Ms Browne Sanders has not the basis for a sexual harassment suit.
Because: Her claims of harassment and verbally
accused has a little corroboration from witnesses.
Not have obvious testimony.
2/ From what you know of this case, do you think the jury arrived at the correct decision? If not, why not? If so, why?
The jury arrived at the not exactly correct decision.
Reason: o It is not enough testimony o The jury need to ask Ms Sanders gives them
obvious testimonies. o Jury should be required to Garden give
reasons for specific and clear in the dismissal of Sandra. Was it because she is not qualified or not?
3/ Based on the few facts that you have, what steps if any could Garden management have taken to protect themselves from liability in this matter?
• Cited numerous explanations for the dismissal Ms Sanders
“ fail to fulfill responsibilities” “her performance has been sub-par”
• Would appeal the verdict.
• Agree that no sexual harassment took place.
4/ Aside from the appeal, what would you do now if you were the Garden’s top management?
• Give more detail and obvious evidence to proof that Ms. Sanders performance is not good (sub-par).
• Proved that Mr. Thomas is a responsible person, always proper behaviors at work. He has happy family.
• Set up the rule and requirement about sexual harassment in the office, no actions like this will repeat again.
5/ “The allegations against the Madison Square Garden
in this case raise ethical questions with regard to the
employer’s actions”. Explain whether you agree or
disagree with this statement, and why
I agree with the statement above.
If she really is violated and the MSG fired her because
she complaint the true, that mean the company is
irresponsible.
Companies are responsible for finding the truth, instead
of cover for acts of sexual harassment.
Thank YoU ^^ !
