Animal Sorting
Can you put the animals where they belong? Do they belong in the ocean, on a farm, or in the zoo?
Putting together your folder game:Putting together your folder game:Putting together your folder game:Putting together your folder game:
1. Cut {and laminate} all of your animal pieces. 2. Glue the headers to each section of your folder. 3. Put the title on the front of the folder - be sure
to leave the top unglued so that you can use it as a pocket to store animal pieces.
4. Add a small Velcro piece to the back of each animal card if desired and place a matching piece in the file folder {there are 9 animals for each section}.
5. Store the pieces for the folder in the front pocket.
6. Let your child have fun sorting the animals!
NoteNoteNoteNote: Making this into a folder game is entirely optional! You can otherwise store pieces in a plastic baggie and just sort them on your table. I created the pieces to fit into a file folder for easy storage.
You can also print off two copies of the animal pieces and use them as a memory matching game, or glue one set into a file folder and let your younger child match them correctly.
