10. STUDENT FEEDBACK MECHANISM ON INSTITUTIONAL GOVERNANCE/FACULTY PERFORMANCE.
Institutional governance: Feedback is collected from students both in the college and hostel once in every month feedback forms are
provided to students to give their suggestions. In addition to this, suggestion boxes are provided. Once in a month principal reviews the opinions, suggestion, feedback provided by the students and
takes appropriate actions if it is deemed essential.
Faculty performance: Under faculty appraisal Scheme” every faculty is appraised once in a semester every faculty will be
assessed on some point scale and each of them has to score certain points. The principal will review
the appraisal once in a semester and take necessary corrective measures.
Besides this direct feedback is collected form the students in a standard format once in every semester.
This is done for every subject. Feedback is collected from a sample of students, say as many as so, containing
toppers, mediocre and slow learners. this is reviewed by the HOD and necessary corrective measures are taken.
11. GRIEVANCE CUM REDRESSED MECHANISM FOR FACULTY, STAFF AND STUDENT Grievance cum redress committee is constituted as per the norms and directions of the affiliating university.
Students are encouraged to express their grievances through their faculty advisor/class teacher/head
of department to the committee.
Faculty and staff are encouraged to express their grievance thru head of the department to the committee.
More over, principal/management is directly accessible to faculty, staff and students. Every one can

17. Academic Sessions:
Examination system, Year / Sem: The Anna University –Chennai is the governing body of the
Examination system, university. Examinations are being
conducted twice in a year namely in the Month of Oct/Nov
for odd semester & may /june for even semesters.
Period of declaration of results: The results are usually published in the months Jan/Feb. for
Odd semesters and Aug/sep for even semesters

We have well understood that the rewards of mentoring are immense
Mentoring of the students contribute to the fulfillment of professional
developments of the individual and to the long term successes of our
institution, All the faculty advisors are trying to enable the individual to
build new skills prepare for advancement, build self-esteem and enhance
self confidence. Teaching faculty play a faculty Advisor role. Each faculty
is allotted with nearly 20 students. Apart from the formal meeting once in
every week, the students are free to meet their Faculty Advisors any time
for counseling. These faculty Advisors take care of them right from the
first day to the last day of his/her course of study.
Career Counseling:
Carrier guidance cell is established in the college which conduct a
regular periodical carrier guidance programme every year by inviting
external agencies.
Medical facilities: A Multifacility hospital established in the campus is providing round
the clock service along with ambulance facility.
Student Insurance: All the students are covered in the Student safety Insurance by United
India Insurance co ltd ,Vellore for the whole period of his study
