Swimming Canada, Canadian Red Cross, Lifesaving Society Canada and the Canadian

Medical Association have partnered to form Canada's Swim Team

The goal of Canada's Swim Team is to ensure that every Canadian child to learns to swim

at least 25 metres non-stop before completing elementary school. When a child learns to

swim they become more water-safe, more fit and more confident. Learning to swim also

opens up a world of lifelong recreational opportunities for a child.

With a goal of becoming “World's Largest Swim Team” Canadians of all ages are

encouraged to join. Go to http://getswimming.ca/signup.html to get a free membership. All

you have to do is commit to learning to swim 25 metres non–stop. Take the plunge today

and you'll also be entered for a chance to win an incredible vacation for 4 anywhere in

Canada or the Continental US.

We encourage all Lifesaving Society members

to take the opportunity to promote drowning

prevention by joining Canada’s Swim Team
