eGram Project ICT Status
Total eGram Centers in operation are 14004 across Gujarat.
Each eGram Center is equipped with Computer, Printer , Scanner & UPS
In Panchayat Area Wide Area Network (PAWAN) all eGram centers get
connected with Districts as well as State Capital .
Each eGram center is having Very Small Aperture Terminal ( VSAT) ,Voice Over
Internetwork Protocol (VoIP) Phone, Web camera and UPS.

Main Responsibility :◦ To Provide Technical Support (Hardware & Software) to eGram◦ To Provide Training Service to VCE◦ Assist the eGram Center in roll out of G2C & B2C Services◦ Anti virus and other new software installation◦ Video conference and broadcasting arrangements◦ Vendor Co-ordination for part replacement

• A PPP Model on a revenue sharing basis .
• Local person with minimum Qualification of 10th Pass .
• Roll out of Basic G2C services & B2C Services through eGram Center.
Village Computer Entrepreneur ( VCE )
e-GRAM Vishwagram Society
▪ eGram Vishwagram Society is an SPV for
eGovernance activities for Panchayati Raj Institutions. It is
registered under Mumbai Public Trust Act 1950 and society
registration Act 1860.
▪ The Governing Body headed by Hon’ble Minister ( Science
& Technology)
▪ The Executive Committee is headed by Principal Secretary
(P, RH & RD).
▪ In both Committees Member Secretary is Development
Commissioner.
▪ The Sources of funds–Grants from State Government an
own funds.

In each district , District Development Officer is taking lead and
implementing Project in his district and separate eGram unit is there for
Project day to day monitoring.
eGram Nodal Officer has been appointed for day to day monitoring of
Project.
District Level Executive and Taluka Level Executive of TSTSP Team is
reporting to the DDOs .
Ministry of Information and Telecommunication, Government of India
recognized eGram as eGram CSC Center from 4th Feb 2010.

Financial Inclusion Progress
• Total 3691 VCE have been registered for
APNA DHAN Services
• 144 VCE passed Rural Authorization Person
(RAP) exam conducted by IRDA , and now
they are empowered to start 52 companies
insurance products through single login.
• PAN Card services started from eGram centers
and so far 1231 application submitted .
• PRAN Card (PFRDA) generation has been
started from eGram centers and so far 884
application submitted.
• As per Ministry of Finance guidelines,
Currently 650 e-Gram centers are working as
pilot for Financial Inclusion Services across
Gujarat.
