testo 340 is the hand-held analyzer for industrial flue gas analysis and offersbenefits such as:
The benefits of this protection function: No additional sensors and costswith different measuring ranges.

The measuring ranges of yourCO, CO low, NO, NOlow or SO 2sensor is increased 5 times byautomatic measuring rangeextension. At high gasconcentrations the sensor is thennot stressed any more than itwould be at low concentrations.
As an option, the measuringranges of all the sensors in theanalyzer can be extendedsimultaneously by a factor of 2.

The sensor can be changed or upgraded in an additional gasparameter by the user directlyon-site... The main advantage of this is thatadjustment data is saved in the gassensors. In this way, time-consuming test gas adjustmentwhen changing sensors isdispensed with.
The automatically controlledmeasurement gas pump built intotesto 340 is the ideal solution fortypical situations which arise whenmeasuring flue gas such asnegative or positive pressure (from-200 to +50 mbar). Pump flow isautomatically kept constant.
Increased safety thanks to abuilt-in condensate trap The Testo design eliminates thepossibility of condensationaccumulating in the actual gassensor. testo 340 warns if thecondensation trap needs to beemptied.
A wide fuel selection is available18 standard fuels and 10 additionaluser-defined fuels can be matchedspecifically to each application.
Bigger selection...Different probe shaft lengths,diameters and temperature rangesensure high flexibility for allapplications. To change, the probeshaft is simply attached to theprobe handle and snaps into place.

probe can remain positionedin the flue gas during the
zeroing phase of the gas sensors. The calibration phase of testo 340 isfinished after only 30 seconds.
testo 340 is fitted with an O 2 sensor as standard. Three additional toxicgas sensors such as CO, CO low, NO, NO low, NO2 or SO 2 can be selectedby the user. This guarantees highest flexibility when adapting to changingapplications and measurement jobs.

Separate NO and NO 2 measurement The real NO X value is measured with the sensorcombination of NO and NO 2. In gas engines, the NO 2component of the NO X value can fluctuate greatly, soseparate measurement of both gases is necessary forcorrect NO X values.Measurements even at high CO concentrations
Even at unexpectedly high concentrations (up to 50,000ppm), automatic dilution of the sensor with fresh air allowsmeasurements even when the engine status is undefined,without negatively influencing the life expectancy of thesensor.Special flue gas probes for industrial engines asaccessories
These probes are highly heat-resistant and are speciallydesigned to compensate different pressure conditions, forexample in measurements before and after the catalyticconverter.Engine-specific parameters
The most important parameters for industrial engines suchas O 2, CO, NO, NO 2, NO X and Lambda can be displayedsimultaneously.
To reduce emissions from gas turbines, CO and NOmeasurements using testo 340 in low ranges are necessary.
