Welcome TO THE MOLLENHOFFS
June saw the arrival of Jim and Cathie Mollenhoff at 4605 Green Oaks. Here’s a new twist: Instead of downsizing now that their 3 children are grown, the Mollenhoffs are upsizing so they will have plenty of room for their young extended families to visit. Jim is the CEO of Siplast, a commercial roofing manufacturer. Cathie was with St. Vincent’s Episcopal School for 23 years and is a familiar face to some families in Brookmeadows, as she taught several of our children. She is active in the community and has remained very involved in volunteer work at Ft. Worth Cook Children’s Medical Center and Meals on Wheels. The Mollenhoff’s hobbies include gardening, scrapbooking, tennis salt water fishing and golf. They are doing extensive remodeling, including building a water fall and Coy pond to be home to the 15 fish they have had as pets for 11 years!
TO THE DION FAMILY2900 Shenandoah Place is the new residence of the Dion Family.
John and Carrie are native Texans and joined us from the far side of Colleyville. John is self employed, owning JDD Enterprises, Inc., a waste management consulting firm and is on his motorcycle whenever possible. Their physically active family seems to come in 3’s... 3 cats, 3 dogs (a Chihuahua, Basset Hound and a Great Dane!) and triplets who will be sophomores in college. Christian goes to Mary Harden Baylor on a football scholarship and enjoys golf, fishing, and lifting weights as well as being involved in the youth group at Compass Church. Christina, whose hobbies are fitness yoga and jogging, will be at TCC transferring to UTA. Courtney attends Texas Women’s University with a biology major, aiming at a career in reconstructive surgery. She has an extensive background in gymnastics and coaches at Empire Gymnastics in Bedford. Carrie loves gardening and collecting MacKenzie-Childs pottery. She laughingly says she can open a business recycling all the broken pieces into frames, trays and other craft items. Yes indeed. A cat knocked over and broke an item as she spoke!--
