Caution BulletinMisuse/Abuse of Technician Training Certificates
Recently, there have been cases of unauthorized persons posing as Kirby Morgan® factory trained technicians performing maintenance and repairs on KMDSI helmets, masks and equipment, and in some cases actually teaching technician courses.THIS IS A SIGNIFICANT SAFETY THREAT TO USERS OF KIRBY MORGAN® EQUIPMENT!
ASK FOR AND READ the TECHNICIAN’S CERTIFICATE before you hand your life support equipment over to a so called “factory trained facility” to be sure the tech is not simply authorized to take care of his personal equipment ONLY! (Non Profit/Non Dealer = NOT a Kirby Morgan® maintenance facility).
For more information on official Dive Lab® / KMDSI training and training requirements please check out the Dive Lab® web site www.divelab.com or call (850) 235-2715, e-mail [email protected]
